Seems like there are a few logos missing but only remember about it because of Madden having lots of older era teams.
Like the Chiefs are missing one where its just the state of Texas with a star. Same with the Eagles having one earlier than '48. ![]() |

Flacco needs 3 tds without an int to tie Montana for most TDs without an int in a post season.
I think he can get 3..but 4 to own the record will be hard |

Rams backed out of the Rob Ryan hiring with Jeff Fisher saying his defensive style doesn't fit well with the team.
Joe Flacco doesn't like that next year's Superbowl will be in a cold and outdoors type stadium (MetLife Stadium in New Jersey). http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2012...-super-bowl-nj |

Ravens: Ray Lewis denies PED use Ray Lewis was given a product to help heal his torn triceps that contains a banned substance, according to a Sports Illustrated report that will appear on newsstands Feb. 4. The Baltimore Ravens linebacker has not tested positive and denies using it, a team official told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio. Mitch Ross, a co-owner of Sports with Alternatives to Steroids (SWATS), told Sports Illustrated that he spoke to Lewis shortly after the linebacker tore his triceps on Oct. 14 and he requested products that could help speed up his recovery. Deer-antler spray was among the prescribed treatments. Deer-antler spray contains a substance (IGF-1) on the NFL's banned list. SWATS is the subject of an in-depth profile in Sports Illustrated's next issue. A version of the story was also posted on SI.com. Lewis dismissed the report when he was asked about it at Super Bowl media day in New Orleans on Tuesday. "Two years ago, it was the same report. I wouldn't give that report or him any of my press. He's not worthy of that. Next question," Lewis said. He also said he doesn't want to give the company any publicity and questioned why he should respond to such "stupidity." "Ray has been randomly tested for banned substances and has never failed a test. We have never been notified of a failed test. He has never been notified of a failed test," Kevin Byrne, vice president of communications for the Ravens, told ESPN. The Ravens had a meeting with Lewis on Tuesday morning to discuss the article. "He denied using the substance discussed in the article and we believe him," Byrne told ESPN. Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he has not talked to Lewis about the report. "Ray has worked incredibly hard to get back. I would hate to see anything diminish that," he said. "My understanding is that he's passed every random substance test that he's taken throughout his career." Sports Illustrated reported in its story a pitch made by Christopher Key, the other half of the two-man company, to Alabama players in the week before they played LSU in the 2012 BCS National Championship Game. He is quoted as explaining the benefits of the spray to the players. "You're familiar with HGH, correct? It's converted in the liver to IGF-1," Key explained, according to the Sports Illustrated report. "IGF-1, or -insulin-like growth factor, is a natural, anabolic hormone that stimulates muscle growth. We have deer that we harvest out of New Zealand. Their antlers are the fastest-growing substance on planet Earth ... because of the high concentration of IGF-1. "We've been able to freeze dry that out, extract it, put it in a sublingual spray that you shake for 20 seconds and then spray three [times] under your tongue. ... This stuff has been around for almost 1,000 years, this is stuff from the Chinese," Key said, the magazine reported. |

I watched this whole thing play out at a bar. Every ESPN channel went to Ray Lewis. They had Hannah Storm and some dude on stand by. 10 minutes in they released the scrolling news about him doing roids. LOL They didnt sit on that one at all. Ray Lewis got completely used here. Just look at the timing of everything. He made the story about him. They soaked it up and then they put the knife in his back. Media and cheating players make amazing bed fellows.

You can say whatever about Lewis, but it really is a damning piece of evidence that ESPN are true pieces of shit. It's not like they didnt know about this. This feels like a build a guy up, tear a guy down story. Them and SI knew what was up. They waited to release this. This wasnt coincidence. It just annoys me. That's piece of shit reporting. Waiting for the biggest splash. ESPN and SI should be investigated about how long they sat on this story.

That's the media for ya. They built Ray Lewis up (especially during this last run), and now they try to destroy him.
Hell, the media embraced Ray Lewis after his charged were dropped. They helped him rehabilitate his image. |

Sports Illustrated broke the story I fail to see how this is ESPN's fault.
I don't see this as being a big deal for a Super Bowl distraction. |

It probably has to do with the idea of ESPN likely knew about this around the same time SI knew but ignored it in order to keep pushing the feel-good emotional motivator Ray Lewis storyline until it dried up. Every other major storyline and hype was milked up and there is still a week to go.
Also very likely due to ESPN having strong connections with SI and probably have several of the same sources SI has. |

I heard the same exact story 2 years ago and they didn't have a shred of evidence or a failed test to support it. Of course I'm hearing "they need to suspend him now since its his last game!" which is absolutely ridiculous.

Mike Florio said that he could have come out and admitted to using them today and there would still be no legal way the NFL could suspend him from the game.
