Heh. Giants managed to get a foothold in Fairfield county. I guess since the Jets got Nassau, it evens out.

Pittsburgh having pockets of fans in Oregon, Nevada, and Utah is a bit of a headscratcher.

totally agree. They've done this a lot lately. I think they did it with the Bernie Fine story or the PSU story too. It's just real lame.

SVP was born in MD, went to the University of Maryland and is generally a huge Maryland team homer. He also sort of looks like me if I could grow eyebrows and wear glasses, which adds to my point...

How many teams have a player thats been playing for them since day one of the organization, playing in the last home game of his career? Ray Lewis is basically the Baltimore Ravens and it was probably done, more for the fans who would never get to see him play again at home than anything..

Id sort of liken it to Cal Ripken getting to run around Camden Yards IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME for 20 minutes the night he broke Lou Gerhig's streak.

Baltimore Sports will pretty much always be Johnny Unitas, Cal Ripken and Ray Lewis.

Joe Flacco's brother Mike, who has played minor league baseball for the Orioles A ball team down the road from where I live, put on 30 lbs of muscle this offseason and is looking to be picked up by an NFL team as a TE.

Sucks to hear about arian foster needing open heart surgery in the next week or so..I've had a couple of them but they're not nearly as complicated and risky now...he's expected to be ready for training camp in July whereas I can't even lift anything over 50 lbs..amazing..
