FFS, WWE managed to find something that got CHICAGO to CHEER for CENA. Think about that. The entire arena was going fucking nuts when Cena made the comeback and they cheered him after the match.

I love how they were able to get the Chicago crowd, the crowd that mercilessly booed Cena last year at MITB, to get behind him tonight. Lesnar isn't hurt by this at all. He looks like the most dangerous man in the company right now & tonight's solidifies that. Blood in this match added to the brutality & shows that less is more.

This is probably going to lead to Brock just tearing shit up and running roughshod over WWE until Cena returns. Cena is the only one who can stop Lesnar, but even then, Cena only beat Lesnar because Brock got cocky and Cena was still out for months.

Yeah, he looks totally dangerous after getting beaten by a one-armed Cena with 1 move. I could see the point that this doesn't hurt him IF Cena would have had to do a little more at the end to put him away. They just made it look like he has a ton of offense but can't take anything in return. I guess it is all part of the plan.

I just don't see it making any sense that Lesnar lost his first match back.

Still, wondering what was with the speech at the end. Is he legit hurt or is he just taking a break? Either way, I see Lesnar as champ defending against Cena at next years WM. Book it now.

If this gets the fans behind Cena then it will have been worth it. I still think both of my alternate ideas would have worked to do the same job.

1. Brock injures Cena pre-PPV, wrestles Sheamus in a Tables Match and wins a title on his "redebut". Cena comes back after a month or two off after the crowd hates Lesnar's guts and MAGIC.

2. Cena puts up a great fight, but Lesnar takes advantage of him, just destroys him until EMTs run out and they call it a No Contest even though it's under "Extreme Rules". Cena comes back in a month or two.

I'm guessing their logic is that they needed to make Cena in this match like Austin/Bret.

they're not trying to make the crowd cheer for Cena, when he comes back (if indeed he is gone) the reaction will be exactly the same once the initial "HOLY SHIT" pop wears off and the muties remember they're "supposed" to be booing him. This is never going to change for the most part, except for when he's working with a world class legit superstar heel ala Brock Lesnar or a Vickie Guerrero-esque heat magnet and even then you'll still find bits

I had a great time watching the PPV tonight. The result of the main event could have been better. But then again, Cody Rhodes won the IC strap and Big Show gave that amazing look with all his stretch marks.
