Dudleys seem beneath her.

If she was going to valet, it should be for a headliner. Maybe Seth Rollins when he comes back.

I still think she should be a worker with a bodyguard type who does all the work (Nia Jax makes perfect sense). It would be perfect if they had Divas tag belts. She would be a good foil to build up to fight Sasha Banks down the road.

I don't think anyone is beneath Eva roster wise. Don't think Rollins needs Eva, if the Dudleys are going to be heel it works even better. No tables and no Eva going through a table. Could also see her working with a heel Ziggler or you could stick her with the Social Outcast. Honestly she should stay in NXT for a while though.

It doesn't make a difference either way. You've already spent your money and they aren't left hurting. Just looks stupid on tv either way. If a segment "bombs" and the audience is quiet, and they still keep selling out and selling merchandise, nothing is accomplished (same goes for the stupid chants).

Sitting on their hands is what most Raw crowds do. I prefer the smark crowds. At least there's SOME atmosphere in the arena.

Basically, I'd rather watch a trainwreck than watch grass growing.

This. Hell, the post WM Raw crowds are usually more entertaining than the post WM Raw show itself, and almost always more entertaining than any other Raw shows, at least recently.

Honestly, if WrestleMania wasn't guaranteed to be a smark crowd, I'd probably watch Shane vs Taker and ignore the rest. The biggest draw of the show to me is to see how they avoid the crowd shitting on the show.

The Walking Dead is on at the same time as mania. From 9pm to 10:30pm. I did not at ALL hesitate that I'd be watching that instead of Mania. Shows where I am on the PPV.

Yeah I dunno, there's a fine line. The Barclay crowd was pretty hot for everything and very cooperative with what was going on until the final hour where they just got fucking bored.

At the end of the day they are there to have a good time... if what's happening in front of them isn't accomplishing that, then I believe they are free to do what they want barring physically interfering with the show. It has very little bearing on the product these days, as creative seems used to it by now... but the crowd has the right to entertain themselves if they are not entertained.

....but where does "entertaining" yourself become "trying to get over"?

I'd argue when the crowd really starts to go overboard with the chants to the point it starts to sound offensive (ex. crowd making slur type chants against Divas wrestlers) or stuff not normally seen as the real problem gets "shitted" on for no real reason (ex. same chants spilling over to several matches regardless of quality).

Personally I felt the crowd for most of the 6-man tag match was a mix of them having fun and actually cheering what was going on in the ring. Wasn't till near the end when the match itself started to drag on or felt like it had no importance that the crowd went more in the active shitting role. Doesn't help that Sami beating Owens which should have been a huge deal considering their past was a really flat and throw-away moment.

Is that what happened, Sami pinned Owens? I watched but much like the crowd I wasn't into that match and I think the crowd chants is all I remember from it. I guess the crowd got over. Anyway definitely should've not had Sami pin Owens.

I know WrestleMania looks like shit to a lot on here, it's not a secret. It can be mocked and turned against you real quick, but there's that line in the sand where everyone stood at one time and for just a span of 4-6 years we were all excited and surprised by what we consumed on a weekly basis. The Attitude Era.

This Mania will be my first in attendance and a lot of those Attitude guys I grew up idolizing will be there in physical and non-physical capacities. Even before that time I was a huge Undertaker fan, followed him from his debut 'til current day. I have never seen him wrestle. I've only seen him appear off-camera in a dark segment of RAW. Out of everyone here I live the closest to him, but have never received the chance to see the Deadman in real life. This Sunday marks a lot of firsts on my bucket list. AJ Styles, Undertaker and Sting to name just a few. The Rock has been elusive to me as well. I am going to shit my pants more likely when his music hits. Stone Cold is always fun, but I've interacted with him multiple times in person, through his podcast and on Twitter. He is always welcome to open up a can of WHOOPASS with me any day.

I am attending the show with a few family members and a friend who all have spent hours with me in person discussing and watching wrestling together with, my cousin driving down from Iowa being the man who early on in my life kept me going in wrestling. We even got into WCW before Hogan, Nash and Hall came along. I remember the WCW trading cards we had. Some of those guys had sweet mullets.

Anyways, it's been fun baiting y'all on here from time to time when I tell you to enjoy the current product and be elitist about it. Fact of the matter is, I don't give a damn what you feel about the current direction, history is bound to repeat itself and I see good things on the horizon starting this Sunday or the very next night on RAW.

I don't think anyone thinks mania won't be good. Just the tv leading into it is BLAH and the tv after it will most likely be blah.

I don't know, I didn't think 27-29 and 31 were good. But even knowing how much I didn't like them, you better believe I'd still go back and be in the crowd. I bet it's a stupid fun time even if it's Wrestlemania IX. So jealous of Heisenberg regardless.

Slight correction...started watching on Tuesday, got through some of it, fell asleep, had to go to a show, had to go to work watched from where I left off on Wednesday, and have essentially felt an impending disappointment ever since.

Which is a far cry from never leaving the house on Monday like I did in my adolescence as to not miss a second of WWE action, but I suppose we all grow up.

Definitely watcjing Wrestlemania, though.
