I'd only buy Sony or Samsung. My first HDTV was a sony LCD, now being used as my PC monitor. It kicks.
My other LCD is a toshiba, it's alright, contrast is a tad shit though. Philips used to make great CRT screens, but their LCDs are shit.

Own Pan's Labyrinth & Repo: The Genetic Opera on BluRay, and want to get Full Metal Jacket & 2001 when I can find them. Maybe something like Akira or Ghost in the Shell also.

I really like the Picture-in picture commentaries they're starting to put on BluRay.
