I have no words. I'm sure there's SOME sort of justification but it's probably along the lines of one of those weird explanations that comic book villains make that make sense to only them.

Thee glove thing... you know, they're very unsafe. It's a grip issue. You can't get the proper grip on your opponent when you wear gloves. Safety is important when you're wrestling.

Except for, you know... pyro, a multitude of moves that drop people on their heads, stiff work, giant men climbing ladders, and gravity.

But they gloves, yeah. Ban those.

Tarver has been tapped up since NXT, and Cole not mentioning Shawn was more of a "let the audience draw their own conclusions" kind of thing. They did the exact same thing with the Austin hint a couple weeks back. I highly doubt either of these rumors being true at this point.
