Best debut I've seen since the pope hit the scene awhile back. The promo killed at the beginning and he schooled rey in the ring. Forget Mcintyre,Cody rhodes,everyone except Barrett in nexus etc. This dude's the real deal.

Because SmackDown! tends to flow week-to-week better than RAW, as soon as I finished watching SmackDown! I think my favourite thing about Del Rio so far is the way he smiles even mid-match. He took the 619 in the opening segment, and then he was like "Oh no..." but then was holding his head and looked at Rey with a smile like "You're fucked later." Then he did that smile after chop blocking Rey off the top because he knew what he was going to bust out on him.

I've wanted to see someone debut like this for such a long time. Except in my head it was against Cena, even though that would be more unrealistic.

Del Rio didn't blow his load in his debut, either. He's got some signature moves we haven't seen yet. For example, we haven't seen his springboard kick with his opponent on the top rope yet.

love his character, his swagger, his overall FEEL, you know, but i hated him in the ring. i've only seen that debut match, so i'll give him a fair shake but i really hated that match.
