He just went to TNA.

Creatively, I actually wonder if a move to RAW would be better for Christian. A move to RAW and a proper feud with Edge, who would hopefully want to put Christian over. Even if the WWE wrote Edge to win the feud, Captain Charisma would look good hanging in there with a main event star.

The bad thing is he was on RAW right before the draft. And then when he was drafted, he did the whole "I want the belt" signal when he looked at Jack Swagger. And he never has been given a shot.

And the funny thing is, a few people on this board a few months ago said that a move to Smackdown would have been the better move for Christian. Not that he was doing much on RAW anyway, but there was still probably more for him to do there on RAW... would have probably been part of the NXT invasion angle over Morrison or Truth. Would have also planted seeds for the Edge-Christian mania feud people want on here.

Obviously the fact he went to TNA he will not be a main eventer. either have him to feud with Edge again (like everyone said) or even reunite them (i bloody wish).

im pretty sure part of the reason is Christian's size. he was never the biggest guy, but he's lost so much weight compared to a decade ago. dunno how much his billed weight has changed, but he looks easily 20lbs lighter than he used to be and thus harder to buy as a wrestling heavyweight champion.

That's due to a matter of circumstances, imo. And besides, Rey looks like a wrestler, he's just short. Christian looks like a normal guy with how thin he is now. Same with Edge right now, but luckily he's extremely tall.
