I want Miz to win the Rumble, then completely stop talking about the case after winning. This isn't to say that it'll just be dropped, but it has to be done in a subtle way. Then you build up the Mania build to the point that the case is all but forgotten (it has to be an amazing build to put it into the back of fans' minds). Then, have Miz lose his match at Mania after a hard-fought match. Then you have him cash in and win in "overtime", after his opponent has given him his all.

It gives Miz massive heel heat and keeps his opponent strong.

I love this idea, but I don't know who would be the guy to put Miz over like that. Cena? No way; not the WWE's Golden Boy. Triple H? Doubtful. Not at the grandest stage of them all. A face CM Punk might be pretty great, and I think he could turn pretty easily with the huge reactions he's been getting lately.
