My hopes are with Daniel Bryan. Who better to eventually take the WWE Title from The Miz than the American Dragon? And I don't care what is said, I count him as an underdog in that he doesn't have "the look," he's not a huge guy and everything about him screams Velocity Jobber. Yet he's our United States Champion and one of the most over guys on RAW.

Zack Ryder is a possibility. He's been treated as a bit of a joke recently, but the WWE can switch their tune at a minute's notice. Ryder can talk, he can work (and he's trusted to a lot on Superstars), and he seems to be a guy that is always working on his character, which allows creative to trust him to be left to his devices (less work for them is always a good thing).

It's something that will probably just happen and we won't even realise it. Think Swagger this year.

Truthfully, I would love to see Ryder move to SmackDown!, rejoin Curt Hawkins and Chavo Guerrero as a new "La Familia" under Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler. Why not include LayCool in there, too, since they have their buddy-buddy relationship with Vickie?

I'm hoping they have the King of the Ring replace Fatal 4-Way (which got low buys, didn't it?), and 2011 becomes The Year of the Dragon, with Bryan getting a SummerSlam title shot (one year after he returned in the main event). I can dream, right?

Is it still sad I am sort of hoping he wins the Royal Rumble? There's no clear main event outlined yet, and with Cena tied up with Punk, I sort of hope Bryan at least has an amazing showing in the match.

There's no way in hell Danielson wins the Rumble this year. I'm a HUGE mark of his and I don't want him in a main event role for at least a year anyway. He needs to be built up more.

He might have a good showing, though. But I wouldn't even say he'll make the final four.

It's not but, I think we all need a little patience here. I'd like Bryan's transition into the main event (and I truly believe it's inevitable) to leave behind an enduring mid-card legacy.

How long did Austin and Rock remain in the Intercontinental Title scene anyways? I think it's important to allow a guy the chance to build a decent history before putting him in the main-event. The WWE seems to go one of two ways when pushing a guy, the long slow push and the "shove it down your throats push".

I do get what you're saying, and I don't entirely disagree. But with The Miz as WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan has got the pre-existing history with him. Night of Champions, where Bryan beat Miz clean was only in September, wasn't it? We're not even going back a third of the way of a year.

That being said, I'm not saying Bryan is the only choice, or even the best choice. It's just something I would personally enjoy and I don't think would fail.

I've given up on the idea of Chavo getting even a mid-card push. But good on the guy for having a decade with the WWE coming up soon. The man is still gold in the ring.

Well, to treat that seriously, The Soaring Eagle is a sign that the WWE have faith in Chavo to go out there in a fucking eagle costume and make it work as good as anyone. The guy's talent is not in doubt by the company.
