I felt like he was hitting a wall as a face. he won MITB, cashed in, was booked liked shit, dropped the belt without actually defending it, and got a reset button pushed as well as drop down in the match card.

A year later, he wins MITB again, cashes in on Jeff Hardy, and goes on a tear character wise. So much praise has been given to the Miz and his character's development, but I don't think anyone has evolved in the last 2 years as much as CM Punk's.

Like already mentioned, his look has continued to evolve and adapt to whatever direction his character may be going in, and like he was a year ago with the SES, Punk has picked up a ton of steam in a very short amount of time and has turned a once dead angle into gold again.

His promos are top notch, and his match with Cena last week was PPV quality. I almost want to call WWE idiots for giving it away for free seeing as, IMO, that was one of Cena's best matches.

There's no doubt that, unlike Barrett, Punk will be given the title to run with somewhere down the line as the leader of Nexus. And it will be nothing short of stellar.

I wish there was more awesome stuff on RAW so I'd be drawn to watching more, because Punk sounds awesome. The man can promo with the best of them, and work a great match. He's an upper-card pick to win the Royal Rumble that wouldn't entirely piss me off, either. Especially since he was arguably the star of last year's Rumble.

Noid, Raw has been pretty solid as of late. Last week's featured two PPV qualiy matches in Ziggler/Orton and Cena/Punk. Well, in my opinion, they were PPV quality.

And Punk is easily the front runner for a Rumble win. He has more momentum than any other not title contending upper mid carder right now. I feel like Barrett and the Corre are still getting some steam back, and I think, if he's healthy, a program with Taker is in the mix.

Maybe if you actually gave it a chance you would see there is other good stuff going on. As Damien Rey said, its been a pretty solid show lately.
