Wasn't Kelly Kelly suppose to be in the match before she got knocked? Melina would have been shit out of luck either way. Kelly Kelly was actually involved in a storyline with Dolph/Vickie, has been on t.v, and Melina has not.

I don't see Morrison getting fired at all, but I do see his push hitting a stand still if this keeps up. As for Melina, I can easily see her, along with several other divas, being pushed out the door.

If this is true and not just internet gossip bullshit, I think if Morrison were half as interested in working on his god damn mic skills as he is about his girlfriend's "spot" on the WrestleMania card then he'd be far better off.

How can you bitch about being put on a tag team with Snooki, the biggest "celebrity" on the card (aside from Rocky) and a Divas legend like Trish Stratus? What a bitch. Probably just jealous that he's the Jannetty to Miz' HBK.

Reality is Trish is bigger now, post career, than Melina will ever be. If Morrison is going to take offense that his less than popular Diva girlfriend is not booked in a storyline in where she didn't fit than whatever punishment comes down on him is deserved.

He's not happy? Fine. But you don't act unprofessional when your boss HANDS you a spot on the card that is guarenteed to garner media attention, thus giving you a chance to be seen and recognized in mainstream media outlets.

Melina hasn't done anything note worthy ever. Granted, the Divas division isn't what it used be when Trish had pros like Molly Holly, Victoria, Mickey James, Jazz and Lita to work with. But it wouldn't make a difference regardless. Melina has been given the match time to show what she's got, and while not terrible, she does not posses the "it" factor that Trish had from day one. A factor, mind you, WWE has yet to replace.

And again, Vince and co. went with the right move in getting the bigger name to draw. I don't see what Morrison's problem here is.

Melina has a point though. I mean after Trish, Kelly Kelly, Eve, Natalya, Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendes, Kaitlyn, Gail Kim, Sunny & Maryse she was the obvious choice to be in that match.

It was reported yesterday that there is backstage heat on John Morrison and Melina as a result of their behind the scenes treatment of Trish Stratus. It was claimed that either he or Melina, his girlfriend, felt Stratus took her spot at Wrestlemania XXVII. Morrison rejected various ideas Stratus had for the match and was said to be very difficult to work with. During the live performance, Morrison appeared visibly cold to Status, not making eye contact with her and dodging her following its conclusion. Morrison's treatment of Stratus reportedly hurt her feelings. Word quickly spread amongst the locker room, garnering heat for both himself and Melina among some circles.

Regarding the validity of the story, former WWE talent Sean Waltman (a/k/a X-Pac), who was on hand for the WrestleMania festivities in Atlanta, wrote yesterday on Twitter that a participant of the Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match did not behave in a professional manner. He wrote to Stratus, "It was wonderful seeing you this weekend. You are a true professional, unlike someone else in your match and I don't mean Snookie."

He then added that he was very surprised and disappointed by the person's unprofessionalism.

According to a friend of Melina's, the Raw Diva is legitimately upset with Stratus. Melina has privately said that her source of contention with Stratus is not because she herself was snubbed from WrestleMania due to her, but because many of the Divas were. She's upset that many of them were snubbed from the grand event when they're on the road throughout the year, unlike her. Melina also said that she's not the only girl upset with Stratus for "taking their spot."

Meanwhile, Melina wrote a message on Twitter Tuesday defending her Diva peers, and that she will fight for them.

"I was eliminated from TE...Look how far I've come. I'm not the best but God knows I try my best! Thru all the h8 I'm still standing strong!"

"I don't care what ANY1 says, WWE Divas CAN wrestle. We prove it when we get time. I believe in them. I will fight 4 them until U see what I C."

"Thank you everyone. We have a strong group of women in the WWE. A roster that I'm proud to & be a part of."

Honestly, Melina can piss the fuck off. You know who she should mad at about not getting a spot on Mania's card? Vincent Kennedy McMahon. You know, the guy who owns the company and makes the decisions.

If she has a gripe about being left out or underappreciated, go about it the way every other professional does; talk to your boss about it. I'm sure Trish didn't have to be on the card for this match to work, but fact of the matter is that Vince and co. felt she was a better name and a better fit for the match. If Melina has a problem with that deicision, she needs ton confront it, not piss and moan and undermine her boyfriend.

Unlike the Divas, male superstars have something more than a lone singles title to work for. Morrison has main evented back to back Elimination Chambers, and had a very good Raw title match. He is literally on the brink. By trying to please his jealous girlfriend, he is undermining everything he has busted his ass for since winning Tough Enough. It would be a damn shame to see him piss it all away, just because his lousy, one trick pony girlfriend didn't get included on a card where no Divas were included.

Melina's not even hot. Morrison is good-looking, he could probably do quite better than Melina. So she either must have some feature that satisfies a fixation of Morrison's, or he just doesn't give a shit and it's convenient. To say that he's spineless might be a bit of an assumption, I would lean more along the lines of crazy.

As far an opinion on what Melina actually said, you can hardly blame Trish for being one of (#1 if you ask me) the best divas to this day. That match was a bunch of crap, but I would actually watch a Trish match. Not just because she was hot, but because I liked her, and sometimes she impressed me in the ring.

Melina and the divas aren't the only people to get knocked off the card either. And for that matter, maybe if they stepped things up and were more entertaining, they would knock "men" off the card.

I man all I hear from her is that because Trish Stratus has a vagina, it knocked divas off the card. Trish doesn't get knocked off cards, so why do you?

I've never really liked Melina.

I didn't quite like her at first, then I began to hate her around the time she made her face turn and constantly screamed and smiled 24/7 like a deranged killer.

You often hear reports about Melina causing problems backstage. She seems like a) a raging slut, and b) like she's going to ruin her boyfriend's fucking career. But if Morrison wants to fuck up what is the biggest push of his life because he wants to keep his self-centred girlfriend happy, then I have no sympathy for him. I want Morrison to succeed as much as anybody, but you don't act like an unprofessional ass. Also, you don't hurt Trish Stratus' feelings. That has to be the gayest thing ever.

I can actually see Melina getting released. She's a very talented woman, and she'd help the Divas division if she pulled her head from her ass (and that flexibility is probably why Morrison is with her), but I never would have thought that the WWE would release Mickie James, either. But they did.

Morrison's punishment will hopefully be something on-air -- like being told he's going to make out with Trish. It helps his character gain more steam, but is a giant rib towards him, as well.

Trish Stratus confirmed last Friday via radio interview that she was snubbed by John Morrison at WrestleMania. He wasn't interested in listening to her suggestions for their bout, and that when she went to hug him during the post-match celebration, he gave her the cold shoulder. The assumption backstage is that Melina was in his ear because she believed Stratus was taking "her spot" at the pay-per-view event.

Former WWE talent Sean Morley (a/k/a Val Venis) is furious over their alleged treatment of Stratus, who he considers a friend. He posted a video online blasting the real-life couple, while also defending Stratus. His remarks are as follows:

"I've always been really nice to Johnny and Melina. I've always been really nice to them. I don't respect Johnny at all. And, you know, there are several reasons for that. And now, after snubbing Trish for supposedly taking Melina's spot at WrestleMania. You know what? Screw it. The reality of the situation is Melina, it's not your spot! It's Vince McMahon's spot and he's going to put in that spot whoever will be doing the best for the company and it's ain't you, ah-ah! It's Trish! You think you're on the same level as Trish, Melina? Come on! All that respect I might have had for you, which honestly was just a little bit, is completely thrown out the freakin' window now!

My take? Seeds were being planted for a Trish/Melina match at WM28 and because of the huge dislike for Melina backstage things got out of control and it got real.
