He was amazing, I wouldn't be against him winning a World Title for a month, or even a week, but definitely not during Wrestlemania season, do it during the slower May-July period.

That's not even close to the same position. Foley was a legit BAMF with worldwide credibility, an incredibly touching backstory, and the ability to get serious when necessary.
