Tough choice since both are really worthy of being in the Hall but went with Foley by a slim margin.

Edge had a great career as a tag team wrestler and managed to have as good as one when he split off into singles. Overall he was better in terms of in-ring skills than Foley. Also felt his Rated R character meshed a lot better and created a legit rival to Cena's "Super Cena" character that failed to mesh multiple times with Orton.

Foley had the better ability in terms of promos and becoming popular in multiple promotions. While his in-rings skills lacked, he still manage to create a lot of memorable matches. Also felt his big moments as a wrestler easily equaled and surpassed Edge's big moments especially with the legendary 1st title win that WCW didn't think would cause a huge shift in viewers.

think I've said it before, but Edge is my favorite wrestler ever so I kind of have to go with him

My vote goes to Edge. Love Foley, and he belongs in the HOF, both for BW and WWE, but Edge is one of my favourites.

I'm going with Foley cause Edge is already going into the real Hall of Fame and Foley still hasn't gotten the nod.

Maybe next year cause it'll be in the NY/NJ/Long Island area.

Foley was entertaining, but c'mon, Edge was fucking great. Foley was lucky to be big at the peak of the attitude era, but that was also the time that made Edge a star and pushed him to where he got to.

What I was getting at Mr. Knight, was that while Foley was good, he wouldn't have gotten over the same in WCW during the same time, or even in WWE during the New Generation. The fact he was in WWE during that era made him everything he deserved.

Almost nobody would have made it if they weren't in the right place and the right company at the right time. That's why the point was so funny and stupid. As for Edge, it didn't make him a star, and his later push was fairly unrelated. After all, WWE tried to push him a couple times prior and he fell flat on his face. Edge is a one-note "star" who never got over on his own merits.

In essence, he was "lucky" to be where he was when he was, because he probably wouldn't have gotten anywhere without Vince's man-crush and insistence to push people whether we liked them or not.

Which again, is why calling Foley "lucky" is so fucking stupid.

I thought long and hard about it, but I believe Mick deserves to be in the Hall of Fame more then Edge needs to win this round. Having said that, whoever Edge is paired up with sans The Rock or Undertaker I will be voting for him when its his turn to go in.
