I have been to three house shows in my life......When I was 8, 10 and this past October to a TNA show..... so no..... I'm not "that guy".....I also went to the latest house show alone, so that should give you an indication about how social I am in public.....

First time I went to a house show (the main event was Shawn vs Bret vs Sid for the title, so quite some time ago) I was totally enthralled by it.

I remember legitimately thinking the title was gonna change hands and marveled at how the champ managed to escape with the belt.

kids are the best at wrestling shows, especially once they "get into it". Can't imagine how good it must be for the guys working for Vince

Actually, looking at old results to try to find that show... it looks like it may have actually been an episode of Monday Night Raw, and the Sid/Bret/HBM match was a dark match main event.

This is a pretty mind blowing revelation.

The only thing I remember about it is that one dark match main event.

I met one of those guys a local indy show in 2010.

Him and his friend both "befriended me" for the night and we all sat together at the event and all he did was comment on how shit some of the guys were doing moves and telling me and some kids in front of us when spots were about to happen because he "knew when wrestlers were calling spots" and so on.

He also booed all the faces and cheered the heels. He got into a verbal confrontation with one of the wrestlers after his match. It was Matt Vaughn. Vaughn then managed to get the entire crowd against the guy, which was pretty embarrassing as I was sitting right next to him.

Here's he is pointing him out to the crowd.



They were both nice guys though. It's just when watching a match together, one of them was just really annoying.

When I was 14, I got to go to WCW Nitro here. Arn Anderson vs Hogan, Alex Wright vs Loch Ness, Belfast Bruiser vs Brad Armstrong, Ric Flair vs Savage for the WCW title.

Flair Savage was ok, the rest was garbage. I dont think I was as excited at the 14 year old boy in the initial post, although I was 7 when I went to my first wrestling show (an NWA show) which was:

Rick Steiner fought Kendall Windham to a draw
Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers defeated Jim Cornette, NWA US Tag Team Champions Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane in a handicap match
Steve Williams & Nikita Koloff defeated NWA Tag Team Champions Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard via disqualification
NWA World Champion Ric Flair & NWA US Champion Barry Windham fought Lex Luger & Sting to a no contest
The Road Warriors defeated Ivan Koloff & the Russian Assassin in a scaffold match

That's pretty much every indy wrestling fan. They spend their entire week research "gold" material to impress the other fatass virgin smarks. Usually while wearing Hayabusa masks and an American Dragon T-Shirt that's 2 sizes too small.
