That's because Daniel Bryan is terrible. They needed to have him be mean to a chick just to get any heat.

HHH/Taker has been pretty awesome tbh so far, best match on the card IMO.

Obvs Rock/Cena will be OTT fun though.

The rest can go fuck itself.

I agree with the three LockJaw mentioned. The lower card is pretty weak as far as build. Last year's wasn't exactly incredible though outside Cody and Rey. Orton-Punk was kinda formulaic.

The main event and the rest of the upper card is insanely better built that last year though. Blows it out of the water. I feel like Punk and Jericho only suffers because Rock-Cena and HHH-Taker's build has been so good that it's kinda just lost in the shuffle.

Orton/Punk build was pretty good actually.

As for Punk/Jericho... I don't like the stuff they have been doing with Jericho insulting Punk's family. Seems like the feud didn't really need it. Should have just been the whole "Best In The World" issue, like it was at first.

It was an attempt to bring the heat up to the level of the other two. I don't really mind it. I'm still much more interested in it than I was with Orton and Punk last year and the terrible WWE title match last year too. It's the third best built match on the card and it's way better built than the main event last year.

I enjoyed the build up of Cena/Miz and thought the match was good until the end of it at least.

Most fans, myself included, probably would have gotten tired of them talking to each other in the ring about how they are the best in the world. There is only so much material the "Who is the best in the world?" thing has, and they couldn't fill 6-7 weeks with it.

At first I wasn't a fan of the "personal" addition to the Jericho/Punk feud, but I agree with Steele, it needed it. It adds more interest in the match for majority of fans, and it also adds another dimension to each wrestler's character going into Mania.

That stuff is gold, and it's Jericho giving lessons on how to get yourself over as a heel. I hope some of their younger heels pay attention and learn from it.

i'm really excited for rock/cena, despite the fact that the build up has lost steam for me recently. i just want to see how it ends.

i could kind of foresee myself yawning halfway through that match though.

i'm compelled to watch wrestlemania. i don't really know what i want to see. that's kind of the point, i guess: i want to be surprised.

I don't care much about WWE right now either. I read results, but I don't bother to watch RAW or Smackdown when they're on. I sometimes watch matches on YouTube if they get good reviews.

But I'm buying WrestleMania this year because I'm sold on it. Rock/Cena is going to be amazing on Hogan/Rock levels, and as a fan of professional wrestling, there's no way I'm missing that. Plus we get Punk/Jericho, Bryan/Sheamus and some other shit. I could really care less about Triple H/Undertaker, although I'm sure it will be "brutal."

Johnny Curtis was the perfect choice to win NXT Season 4 or whatever it was he was on. Brodus Clay was going to be used as a bodyguard for Alberto Del Rio and would get over that way, and Derrick Bateman was charismatic, but not that great in the ring. Byron Saxton would have been an appropriate choice, but he too sort of left something to be desired.

Curtis was the closest thing to a whole package in that season, and they haven't done much with him, but he's very entertaining on NXT Redemption.

The WWE missed an opportunity at WrestleMania by not having one little backstage segment where Curtis approached Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos after their match and asked them if they wanted to get weird.
