I became a "smart mark" when Eric Bischoff revealed the results of the RAW tapings on Nitro and was accurate every time! Also, I checked out DDP's "Union of the Diamond Cutters" website and Jericho's website; both featured candid comments to the fans about their feelings on the direction of the industry, something we'd never see printed or hear broadcasted outside ECW before the Monday Night Wars.

And when I learned about ECW, I looked online for match summaries and read synopses of the promos poking fun at WWE and WCW, further refining a vague understanding of the industry.

Mr. Perfect was my first heel I loved.

I also was taken by most members of the The Heenan Family, so I wasn't much of a face lover growing up.

Shawn Michaels. He ruled my life as a young wrestling fan. From the heart shaped glasses to WM12 and then DX and beyond. Up until the Matt Hardy back and shitty pants and then his ability to not accept the nature of his hair.

Listen. Looks are important to me as a wrestler. If you look like shit then that effects me, Rey Mysterio pants I am looking at you.

Rey returns with tighter black pants, OMG Rey is awesome in this match.

Both Rey and Michaels have/had knee problems and wore knee bulky knee braces. Would look a bit ridiculous having tight pants showing off their bulging knees.

I don't care about those knees, what they have on them or not. They chose stupid looking pants and they lost my mark for it. Stone Cold didn't give a fuck.

Yeah, even DDP continued to wear tight pants (jeans in lieu of tights proper) over his knee braces, and he looked appropriate.

Kurt Angle I think. When he won the title at No Mercy 2000 it was so surreal for me as I'd only seen the big guys like Triple H, Rock, Austin and Big Show hold that big belt. Awesome moment so I had to love him and it felt really monumental.

Me too. Owen that is. I was the baby of the family so I could relate to Owen. I then started liking the New Hart Foundation in 1997. I also liked The West Texas Rednecks in 99' WCW. I also sometimes liked Hollywood Hogan because I was such a Hogan mark growing up.

I even liked RTC for some reason - lol. I think it's because they just made me laugh and their music was annoying but also oddly entertaining. I loved when Richards first came out with that music blaring and he made one of the Diva's put like a bag or something over herself to cover herself up and the audience chanted "Faggot" at him!

There may be a few other heels I liked, but those are the only ones who stand-out.
