I don't think Triple H will retire at this year's WrestleMania. Here is why I think so:

* Triple H is a big star. The WWE needs big stars. If the WWE wants to bump a PPV buyrate, they can have Triple H come out and say that he wants a WWE Title match at such and such a PPV. Yeah, it'd be ridiculously lazy, but they lose that option if Triple H's career is over.

* Triple H has what appears to be a healthy ego. Triple H vs. Undertaker has happened at WrestleMania as many times at as Austin vs. Rock. Triple H likes to put himself near the top of the WrestleMania card each year. The lowest profile match I can remember him having since he became a World Champion in WWE was against Sheamus, a kid he saw/sees big things in, and he didn't even do the job at Mania (which was the right booking call, by the way) in a desire to get this guy over. Instead, he let Sheamus write him off WWE television the following PPV. We're up to WrestleMania XXX next year. Do you really see Triple H sitting out such a big event? Yes, he could be involved in another manner, but do you really see him not wanting to wrestle?

* Shawn Michaels is going to be there. Triple H and Shawn Michaels represent DX. The WWE loves to make money off DX merchandise. Expect a new shirt.

* Triple H believes himself to be such an endearing babyface that people would pay money to see him win. This mentality had Triple H defeating Randy Orton in the main event of WrestleMania XXV, which many felt was not the organic direction to go in. I would not at all be shocked if Triple H believes that him beating Brock Lesnar is the correct outcome of the match. I would agree with him in this circumstance.

* Brock Lesnar has nothing riding on a loss. He can get pinned here and show up on RAW tomorrow all pissed.

* This run has not really been the best in Triple H's career. It's lacking some sort of energy, and Gertner is right -- it hasn't really been a hit with fans. Heyman should be after more than Triple H's career. Why does he even care? Triple H will end his career in a more successful fashion than this nonsensical storyline.

* What's Sting's TNA contract status like? Every year there are mumblings about Sting signing with the WWE for a match with The Undertaker and a Hall of Fame induction. Does The Undertaker really want to work with Sting? Does Sting really want to work with The Undetraker? Is it worth bringing in Sting just to lose to The Undertaker at WrestleMania? Is it worth having Sting break the streak? The Undertaker vs. Sting is a dream match, but it will probably always remain such. You know who he is a huge fan of Sting though? Triple H. You know who shares a history with both Triple H and Sting? Ric Flair. With the very idea of WrestleMania XXX being a massive thing on its own, you just know the WWE is going to pump the card full of marquee matches. Triple H vs. Sting with Ric Flair as the Special Guest Referee. There's an intriguing scenario.

* There's a new WWE Championship belt. Don't you think that Triple H would like to add one more replica to his wall at home? The guy who worked so hard to rack up thirteen World Championships in the WWE (still a record) probably would like to prove he can still be WWE Champion.

* Triple H winning ties Lesnar and Triple H up at 1-1. Hell in a Cell as the rubber match where Triple H's buddies can't help him.

Have to say, think the post-Mania landscape will mean that he doesn't lose. As much as he might be settling into his executive role, RAW could find itself very light post-WM.

Whatever happens, Undertaker will disappear again, and it looks like Punk is unadvertised for a decent period after too to heal up injuries. The Rock and Lesnar will go back to being part time soon afterwards, so is now reall the right time to take the HHH option off the table? Don't think so...

He will be good for a Lesnar re-match at Summerslam, and am almost certain that he will want to be a part of WM30...it will be a landmark occasion for the company and I don't see him leaving himself off that card.

Lastly, think there are a few untold stories that he could still do. Maybe some Shield anti-establishment stuff? Something with Ziggler? Fandango/Sandow/Swagger. Few untold stories there that they could use to boost a PPV like Noid suggested...

I'm serious.

You know what? I'd love it for Triple H to come back and form "Evolution 2.0" or whatever you wanna call it. Have Triple H be the leader of a stable composed of Ziggler, Miz, Cesaro, Barrett (guys who just haven't been able to fully take that next step towards greatness, for whatever reason), and have 'em do their thing.

It won't happen, though.

However, Triple H could stick around and work with some of those guys in a couple of angles, give 'em "the rub", etc.

Nobody in WWE has more passion for "the business" than Triple H (no, not even Cena). That's why everytime he comes out to cut a promo, he steals the show. He knows how to "connect" with the audience, he knows how to bring emotion into every word he speaks. And then he knows how to get in the ring and tell the story. Hell, Triple H may be the best "in-ring storyteller" of all time. So many of the younger guys could definitely benefit from being in the ring with "The Game", either on his side in a stable, or opposing him in a match.

And of course, Triple H can still revisit old rivalries and tear the house down, if need be.

I've actually been saying this since the first Lesnar-HHH match. I think Hunter should go full time for at least 1 or 2 more years. I think it would only help the WWE money wise. And when he shaved his head and came back this time around I felt like he looks good as ever in my opinion. He started coming back out with his leather suit, and talking about how the ass kicker was back. And you really got to think with a win on Sunday, why shouldn't Triple H go back to full time. He needs to make one more run with the new title.
