E3 2013: All aboard the hype train

Coming close to that time of the year again for arguably the biggest event in gaming. Considering Sony and Microsoft already held their own events while the other major publishers revealed most of their stuff, didn't need an extra early hype thread this year for E3.

* Square Enix is hosting several live streams of stuff they are showing off between June 11 to June 13.
* Apple is holding their Worldwide Developers Conference on June 10 at 10 AM.

Microsoft's Press Conference Highlights:
* Xbox One to launch November 2013
* Xbox 360 Slim model revealed
* Hideo Kojima announces Metal Gear Solid 5 will be available for the Xbox One.
* Rare's "historic IP" was revealed to be a brand new Killer Instinct game
* Project Spark revealed to be a game that allows users to create and control their own game world with the help of Kinect. Also features SmartGlass capabilities.
* Launch titles revealed/confirmed - Minecraft , Kinect Sports Rivals , Ryse: Sons of Rome
* Titanfall officially revealed by Respawn Entertainment and arrives in Spring 2014 for Xbox One
* New Halo game revealed
* EA announces Xbox One will get timed exclusivity for Battlefield 4's 1st DLC pack
* CD Projekt RED confirms The Witcher 3 will arrive on the Xbox One and features Kinect support
* Dead Rising 3 officially revealed, will be for Xbox One, and features a brand new main character
* Spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon called "Crimson Dragon" announced for the Xbox One and features Kinect controls
* Insomniac Games announced open-world shooter Sunset Overdrive for the Xbox One
* E3 trailer for Quantum Break released
* Announced to cost $499 and available this November

Sony's Press Conference Highlights:
* Trailers - Knack , Beyond Two Souls
* Announced to cost $399 and available later this year
* Similar to the Wii U, the PS4 will allow Indie developers to self-publish their games on PSN
* The Order: 1886 officially revealed and is being developed by Sony Santa Monica (God of War series devs)
* Kingdom Hearts III announced as an exclusive for the PS4
* Final Fantasy Versus 13 now re-branded as Final Fantasy XV and will be available for the PS3 and PS4
* Several PS4 exclusive indie titles revealed
* Sony reveals the PS4 will not have the same DRM restrictions the Xbox One will have for used games and trading.
* Similar to Xbox Live accounts carrying over, Sony announces Playstation Plus accounts will carry over to the PS4.
* Several games revealed to arrive later this year for the PS Vita
* Online multiplayer will now be locked out to only Playstation Plus members for the PS4.

Nintendo's Nintendo Direct Highlights:
* Super Mario 3D World announced for the Wii U
* Mario Kart 8 revealed for the Wii U
* Several eShop-releated games were revealed and shown off
* "Tingle Bottle" feature using Miiverse capabilities revealed for Wind Waker HD
* Donkey Kong Country Deep Freeze revealed with "vikings" as the main bad guys. Available later this year for the Wii U.
* Wonderful 101 revealed to feature 5-player co-op and multiplayer. A special future Nintendo Direct will focus on this game only.
* Trailers - Bayonetta 2 , Super Smash Bros Universe , "X" (Monosoft's game) , Yoahi's New Island , LoZ: A Link Between Worlds , Mario & Luigi Dream Team , Pokemon X and Pokemon Y
