Yeup. Owens looks like a bigger prick after that match than he did after R-Evolution while Zayn has really mastered the art of selling a concussion.

All that was missing was Owens powerbombing the ref for stopping the beatings and he'd be right up there with Lesnar as the "beast" of the WWE.

Seeing how this was your first time watching NXT, I can see why you are off put by this. Zayn was always booked as an emotional albeit underdog guy whose fight to win the championship was a better story than him defending it. Owens on the hand debuted not long ago as a beast with him jealous of his indy friends having received opportunities in the big leagues before him.

I expected a DQ would happen, but the belt changing hands turned the finish around for me.

I expect people to bitch about ref stoppage != pinfall or submission for a title change, but, if the ref stops the match because someone's unresponsive in a hold, we've had the title change hands before.

I mean, even without that, if you beat a guy up so bad he's going to die if the ref doesn't stop the match, I feel like you should get his championship. It's not like you shoved him out of the ring and hung out for ten seconds.
