I think you could def tie the story up with the 3rd season. Like any good story we're at a dark point at the end of the 2nd act. In any case I'll take as much of this show as i can get

Finally watched the last 5 episodes today.....

Overall, not as good of a season as the 1st one, but I will echo Destor's remarks that the finale was amazing
