This thing has been going on for about a year now. There is like one over guy in the division. I feel sorry for the ring crew who have to tape those damn ropes for multiple segments a week. Just get rid of it.

I welcome this if true. With a lack of competition, the best way to put pressure on for change is hitting their pockets.

It has taken a while for fans to finally give up and walk away, but TV numbers are declining too quickly to just be "a sign of the times"

It's the same old predictable, boring shit every week and there needs to be a change in how they write their characters and develop TV.

I love wrestling, but I won't be back as a subscriber until things are worth watching again.

You vote with your money. I had to take away my vote for support of the company when they put the WWE Title on Jinder. I just couldn't do it anymore, even for the classic stuff.

I had the Network and I wasn't watching the specials. I'd read the recaps, find that the shows gave less jaded fans than me a lukewarm feeling, and would just skip over them. I essentially had access at no extra cost and chose not to watch.

With Jinder as champion, nothing matters to me. There's no hierarchy. There's no perception of true talent. It's a lottery or casting couch process. Jinder has only been around for 6 years, but in that time, there has been no on-air indication that he shows any of the qualities of being a star. None. And you want to break all that continuity and tell me that he is? No. Fuck you.

Cutting costs like pyro and sets makes complete sense. Businesses always look at unnecessary expenses to cut. Cutting Talking Smack is the only thing that makes me scratch my head.

The house shows and ppvs not selling out doesn't surprise me. They have done a poor job developing interesting characters. Not sure how much a ticket costs but if I have a family of four I am sure I can spend money on something better.

Can't build interesting characters when you don't take accountability for an awful process and bad ideas. The only narratives we ever get is that it's somehow the fan's faults, or wrestler A had a bad attitude.

The sets are probably just the way they are because of the led setup, far easier to pipe in custom graphics etc to differentiate the sets than build new ones from scratch.

The Wrestlemania set from this year probably cost the same as a small town.

They probably figured that's enough custom sets for now.

I would need a long shower if I dropped that sort of cash for a low level PPV. Unless it comes with a handjob from the SmackDown superstar of my choice I don't think it's a very good deal.
