So instead of giving Bayley and/or Sasha anything meaningful to do at Evolution, they just get tossed into a random and meaningless 6-woman tag match. WWE Creative and Vince are horrible when it comes to planning out women's stuff.

If WWEs wellness stuff is really worth all the hype they praise on themselves, hopefully Romans condition was caught in a very early stage.

I am wondering how this never got out though. If he first had this when he was 22, that would put it right around the time he was a captain at Georgia Tech. That would have been big news then.

Plus he was on the practice squad in the NFL the following season, so again that would have been news.

This article has quoted from his agent at the time.

"According to Anoai's agent, Jim Ulrich, Anoai had an injury that didn't allow him to participate in the team's organized team activities last week. The Vikings reported Anoai's absence as being for "personal reasons."

On Tuesday, Ulrich said he was hopeful that Anoai would be able to participate in this weekend's minicamp, but he confirmed Wednesday that undrafted rookie would be released.

"I can't get into what his medical condition is," Ulrich said.

Ulrich said it is possible Anoai could get the medical issue cleared up in a few weeks and then look to sign with the Vikings or another team before training camp. "

He was signed in the beginning of May after going undrafted and participated in rookie mini camp. The date of his release was May 30th, 2007.

Then according to the following article, he signed with the Jaguars on August 26th, 2007:

If those dates are correct, and the "medical issue" was the leukemia, then that could give a rough estimate on the timeframe, as he was evidently healthy after 3 months to get cleared and signed by another NFL team.

I would imagine he wasn't at top strength after chemo, which is why he probably got cut after a week, but still he wouldn't have been signed at all if he wasn't in full remission.

So hoping all goes well and the docs can get him back into remission, it is possible that a best case scenario is him being back at the Royal Rumble, which is a little more than 3 months away.

Wellness Policy wouldn't catch that since its mostly just standard drug testing.

For why it was never made public before, Reigns did mention it was in remission for years so that removes WWE needing to make an announcement since it wasn't life or career threatening. Right but those are negative things they do to themselves. A college athlete of his caliber, 1st team All-Acc, fighting and beating cancer at 22, those are the good kind of stories everybody likes to hear, and for good reason.
