Supposedly it was/is a network thing. Fox and USA want to limit cross-promotion and it'd be inevitable if the same wrestlers were on both shows carrying over the same stories.

Obviously not a universal thing though hence them doing "wild card rule" shit once a month.

Speaking of flashbacks, feels like WWE has been doing that a lot more in recent weeks.

Like besides the usual recaps of stuff that happened earlier in the show or last week, they've also been airing lengthy full video packages for certain feuds each week.

Unsure if it is still on Hulu...... but if it is, it is condensed to 90 minutes. Still too long for my liking, but takes a lot of the filler out.


I find reading what happened, then seeking out video if it sounds good, is the best way for me to stay up on it.
