To be fair a bit, TJP's departure was more due to him being a very annoying person to be around backstage and also being equally as annoying with his takes on social media.

Based on the stories about the 1st CWC, only reason he won it and also the revived Cruiser title was due to the other 3 guys in the Final 4 either didn't want to sign with WWE or needed time to move to the US to be a full-time wrestler for the company.

Thought it was considered a world title by them before but guess not since Wikipedia says its a recent addition.
