Here's why. He's golden on the mic, golden in the ring, and golden in life. The guy has had so much shit thrown his way, and he keeps plowing through it. He recovered from pain killer addiction, which is no easy thing to do. He's busted his ass for years, and continues to bust his ass today, even when he should take time off..

His matches are always entertaining, especially with the whole "cheat to win" persona..

HIs music is great, as are the cars he rides out in.

Eddie G isn't perfect, but any area I could mark him down in, I feel the other areas easily compensate for.

Overness: 10 (He is way over. Though his feud with JBL somewhat dampened it. When he first was champ he was MEGA over.)
Work rate: 10 (If only it were lower... than maybe he'd request some time off for himself. )

Mic skill: 10 (Always entertaining)
Memories/Potential: 10 (I have many fond memories of Eddie... and he has the potential for more title runs)

8. Eddie is one of the most over guys in the WWE, and he can work up a storm in the ring, but he just doesn't have that drawing ability to really excel him to a perfect ten, or a nine. He's a great wrestler, but him being labelled perfect is a bit too far. I htink Eddie Guerrero is on par with a guy like Val Venis, just for work ethic and mic skills. But Eddie's had his chance in the main light, and although he did extremely well, he just missed that attention drawing factor.

I am going to give Eddie a 9.
I've always been impressed with his wrestling talent, he's very charismatic.
He's also one of a handfull of things that keeps me from falling asleep during Smackdown these days..
