Jericho said they were competing for "the opportunity of a lifetime," that still doesn't strike me as an IC title match. Either way it's gonna be good.

Yeah, I can't see it being for the IC Title either. If it were, then it would've been Shelton Benjamin making the challenge. A 6-man ladder match for the #1 Contendership could be really, really good.

Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit vs. Edge vs. Booker T vs. Heidenreich vs. I-Don't-Know-I-Don't-Watch-Smackdown

Edge wins, gets his shot against Batista at Backlash, and gets crushed.

Christian should win and get propelled into the mainevent. It'd be easy to justify since him and Edge are supposed to be two of the best in the match.

My Picks for this match are Edge, Christian, Jericho, Benoit, Matt Hardy, and proberly Shelton...

Of course, I can still cross my fingers, that Hurricane actually appearing on Raw for a few moments, means he could get put in this match

Could be good, although personally I don't like the idea of Edge competing for the IC title. It kinda goes against his character. I'd much rather see a #1 Contenders Match, with Edge winning, and putting over Batista later down the road.

I love the idea of a #1 contender's match, because since Batista is going to win against Triple H, that means the main event for Backlash will be Batista vs. SOMEONE WHO ISN'T TRIPLE H!

Hell yes. I'm for any idea that keeps big nose out of the main event, even if only for a couple months.

I won't see RAW for another two days, but a Ladder Match for the #1 Contendership sounds good to me.

Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit vs. Edge vs. Christian vs. Rhyno (just put him on the PPV dammit!) vs. either Kane, Gene Snitsky or Matt Hardy.

I know people are against the idea of Snitsky in the match, but I think the guy would bump a bit in the match, and I really think the guy has the guts t do some far out stuff in this match. I'd rather just see it be Kane though, with Matt Hardy going over Snitsky in the undercard.

As for the win, I'd give it to Christian. He needs just one big win to get him over as the main guy. He's been skimming the surface of stardom recently, and I really think he could get over huge with a win here.

Leading into Backlash and you can have him play the lead heel of RAW extremely well. With this match you pretty much setup a great Backlash card as well:

World Heavyweight Championship
Batista vs. Christian

Singles Match
Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho

Street Fight
Kane vs. Rhyno

Grudge Match
Edge vs. Shelton Benjamin

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Muhammad Hassan vs. Matt Hardy
