That really doesn't say much. It's like saying he's the most intelligent man in Alabama, it's pretty easy to do. Not really. Bret was one of the only draws at that time and made a ton of money around the world for them. And the WWE was actually on the rise again when he was champ. Business was shitty and down when a certain you know who was champion. When Bret got the Belt back, business started to improve.

Thank you, LC, for proving my point. You state several times that "that's FACT" or "it's a fact" and when in actuallity it's just your opinion. You have no actual facts to back up your claims. Everything you said is your opinion. Just because your opinion matches up to some other people's opinion doesn't make it fact. You site the decline in business and funny how that coincides with the competition being eliminated and WWE ending the Attitude era and moving in the new "Family Wrestling Show" direction. Just because you flip channels when HHH is on doesn't mean everybody does, so that's hardly a fact. Look, I was just trying to express my opinion and didn't expect to get this kind of heat for it, and I have no desire to go round and round about this.

Btw I was speaking in a general term and not specifically talking about TPWW in regards to replying to my comment about people trashing HHH on message boards.

Yea, I've got facts dude. It's called THE Observer, which breaks down segment by segment on which is garnering viewers. It will tell you if HHH lost viewers or gained viewers. Usually his segments LOSE VIEWERS. Would you like a copy the next time I get it? Then you can't talk bullshit on here anymore when you see my point. Agreed?

You want me to believe some statistics in the Observer? Anybody that's been through any business classes can tell you statistics are easily manipulated. Man, you're really getting bent out of shape about somebody liking HHH stating their opinion on the boards. Why is it so important that you prove HHH sucks?

No, it wasn't. He said that it didn't say much that Triple H was a current top heel worker, because it's a big fish/small pond syndrome.

Being on top currently means nothing. Bret's still looked up to, and not because he was "the best at the time," but because he was talent.

Forget it. I can't even get the guy to believe a legit and famous newsletter that's been around the wrestling business for over 20 years. Why would they make up those numbers? They're only selling to wrestling fans. It's not like there going to get a few extra buys claiming HHH lost 113,000(actual numer from newsletter) viewers during his match with Benoit.

Well you could say, well that's Benoit's fault right? Well HHH is champ. He's the best heel. He's the best on the mic. He's got the best pyschology. So if he's the best in everything, don't you think people would want to stay tuned in to see the BEST wrestle?

But when people make references about how he deserves to be on top and he's doing great business on top (You didn't actually say that, but I felt you were implying it), then I step in cause that's actually been proven wrong.

Opinions of wrestlers = Fine with me. I will never jump on anybody for that. I mean I like Orton and some people hate Orton. I'll dispute you on why Orton is good, but will never say anything like "You're a moron cause you don't like Orton."

Rock as good as he is on the mic is by no means the best. There are several that are better such as Jake Roberts and Mick Foley.

Also from a non wrestler stand point vince mcmahon and paul heyman are fantastic especially heymans promo on the smackdown before survivor series.

I really don't see how anyone could NOT consider Rock the greatest mic worker of all time. BY FAR? I don't know. I think there have been some who have atleast approached him in the history of wrestling. (Gene Snitsky being the most notable of course.)

I would rather listen to The Rock cut a promo more than anyone else by far. He always got the crowd into it, and most of his stuff was improv. That's why he's the best IMHO.

When it comes to mic skills, Rock is the man on the poster.

Many superstars have had awesome mic skills: Austin, Hogan, etc... but nobody had a crowd in the palm of his hands during a promo like The Rock. He had countless catchphrases, quips, and poses, and the fans knew everyone of them. It's not often you can get damn near every person in the arena to shout out a phrase in unison like they are singing.

With that said, it's a shame The Rock was never fully embraced as a cult-like hero. The fans would NEVER turn on Austin. They NEVER turned on Hogan. But for some reason, they would get funny on The Rock, like they did several times throughout his career by chanting "rocky sucks", even when he was a face.

But when it came to working the mic, I don't think anyone has surpassed Rock.

The Rock is number 1 on my list, but to say he miles above everybody on the mic might be an over statment. Austin, Kurt Angle, Foley, Flair, and Hogan are way up there too.
