I just read about it on WWE.com and came stright here to see if anyone posted about it. Sure enought everyone on here is pretty quick.

That really pisses me off. Matt is one of the best WWE has and they go off and do this to him. Sure I get that they dont want him and Edge to beat the shit out of each other over the whole Lita thing but still. That sucks more than anything right now.

Rhyno getting released is also a bad thing but both of these are good for TNA. They can get Rhyno and make him into the champ he was in ECW.

Then they put Matt and Jeff together again and for the Tag Titles. Seeing the Hardys Vs Americas Most Wanted would be pretty damn good.

Blessing in disguise. Matt would have had a tough time coping with Edge and Lita. Matt is a capable worker and a name that's recognizable. If he ends up working for TNA or whomeever, he'll just add to the competition pool of that company.

I dunno. Let's say any mark fan learns that the Hardy Boyz are the TNA tag team champions, he'll try to watch impact as soon as possible. A reunion of the two should be a ratings boosting for the show.

If Jarrett drops the title, they might end up like WCW and surpass the WWE in ratings. Especially if Rock joins TNA (which is unlikely to happen, though).

Hardy Boyz = Ratings (well at least for the mark fans)

I was just on WWE.com and didn't see it, but if this is true, this is horrible. How could a guy keep sane with all the shit that seems to be happening to him. And if him being released is all over of what has happened with him and Lita, well how the hell do you expect him to handle himself?

He gets put in one of the biggest, yet worst storylines of 2004. He goes out with an injury, and while recovering, his girlfriend cheats on him with one of his good friends, behind his back. And just when he is ready to return, he gets released. This is absoulute BS! :foc:

As much as I like WWE, this has to be one of the worst decisions they are making. They keep people that are crap, and get rid of people that can actually do something. I even got a chance to meet him in late February during a Wrestlemania tour. But I do wish Matt the best of luck in anything he does.

Comments: I was shocked and appalled to read about the release of Matt Hardy. All I can hope is that he asked for his release, and was not simply released by the WWE as a cost cutting measure. Matt had, and always will have a loyal fan base, that will follow him to any promotion he choses to compete for. It boggles my mind how you can release such talented performers such as Matt Hardy and other, "less talented" performers like Bob Holly, Heidenreich and Chris Masters still have a job.
I also sincerley hope that Matts release does not stem from the incident involving Edge and Lita, as you could have easily placed Matt back on Smackdown, where in my humble opinion, would make a superb United States Champion.
Matt was pretty much my #1 Superstar on Raw, only 2nd to Christian, and I really don't see myself ever tuning into Raw again now, unless I know I will see Christian.
I realise you are not going to take the advice of some 20yr old internet fan, but please, if he wishes, bring back Matt......

Matt had, and always will have a loyal fan base, that will follow him to any promotion he choses to compete for. It boggles my mind how you can release such talented performers such as Matt Hardy and other, "less talented" performers like Bob Holly, Heidenreich and Chris Masters still have a job.
I also sincerley hope that Matts release does not stem from the incident involving Edge and Lita, as you could have easily placed Matt back on Smackdown, where in my humble opinion, would make a superb United States Champion.
Matt was pretty much my #1 Superstar on Raw, only 2nd to Christian, and I really don't see myself ever tuning into Raw again now, unless I know I will see Christian.
I realise you are not going to take the advice of some 20yr old internet fan, but please, if he wishes, bring back Matt......

The early word I am getting on Matt Hardy's release is that the major reason he was let go is due to how he handled the situation with Lita and Edge, which of course he went very public with on his website.
