Seriously, they are making the game pretty hard for average gamers. I love the idea of Precision Passing, but Jesus if it isn't another thing I have to worry about during the game.

As far as I know, no there isn't. Technically its not a huge deal. You can still pass to anyone, but if they aren't close to your vision, don't expect it to bea great pass.

Unless you are Brett Farve. The tutorial had his vision cover 2/3 of the field.

Alright, I hate all you Madden people out there. Today being the 8th, I was bombarded with phone calls at work asking if we got Madden in today. I started the day politely saying that we were not able to sell it untill tomorrow. My demeanor quickly changed though, as I was litteraly answering the phone every 45 seconds.

I opened every conversation with, "Thank you for calling EB games, where you can pick up Madden 06 tomorrow at 8AM." You'd think that would be enough right? So did I untill people were still intent on asking me, "Yeah, ya'll get that new 06 in?"

......... Did I not just fucking say you can pick it up tomorrow?

My question of "Just how dense can people get?" has been answered. The answer... there is no limit.

Sorry to all you fellow posters here, I just had to vent my frustrations somewhere. 9 hours of non-stop Madden calls will do that to a person...

You realize, for months they advertised "August 8th" as the release date, right? So when I read 9th I was like... WHAT!? And last year, Gamestop had it like 4 days early. And now this? It's so gay. 12:01? How fucking gay.

I have the game in my possession. Precision passing is fucking badass. The worst thing is though, that the Lions cannot move the ball whatsoever. Lost to the Packers today 9-0. Of course, that's because Harrington decides to Fumble the ball twice, in a 7 second span on the same play. Harrington goes 13-25 for 113 and 1 pick. Kevin Jones goes 13 attempts for 51 yards.

This is a pretty good game. Don't like it quite as much as I did '05 though, to this point.

For one thing, Superstar mode is terrible. I don't know WHAT they were thinking when they did that.

Aside from that, it's hot. Very hot.

One thing I don't get though. Has anyone figured out a way to turn off the salary cap? I absolutely can NOT find it.

In regards to online play, my Gamertag is DarkUmbrella. Representing the Seahawks.

Had to work till 4am last night to cover all the midnight releases across the country. Also had jury duty at 9am this morning. It made me feel a little better about not paying for the game.

Gonna finish up my 3rd season on NCAA so I can draft my player up before I start playing Madden. Only like 4 games left

Took me like thirteen games of smoking my opponents before I lost against in Franchise last year. This year I got beat by the damned Colts in the second game.

I've been sacked 15 times in 2 games.

I'm getting used to it all. Playing in Practice alot. Gonna up it to All Pro or whatever and get smoked though. First full game I won 27-0.

That's kinda cheap because a few of my first game starts I quit because something really stupid happened.

I think me playing Street so much really helped. I haven't tried it, but Madden has a Street control scheme in the game. I might try it out to see how it feels.

yeah moving up to all-pro for my 2nd game, I crushed the Chefs 45 17 and they only got two of those touchdowns because I was trying some stuff out, vision cone is pretty awesome I must say

Oh yeah started on allpro, dunno got the hang of new passing pretty quick. Beat Saints 27-7 in week 1 with Panthers with Stefan Lefors as QB

I get so frustrated with sports games. I quit so often. Was doing fine with a pre-season game in All-Pro, and on the same play Vick gets injured for the game and they run an INT back 91 yards for a TD. I cut off my PS2 immediately.
