Stop complaining that there arn't any new characters. When street fighter III came out, people said the same thing, but now everyone loves all the new characters from that game. Except maybe Hugo.

Besides, they'll eventually release some kind of "Street Fighter 4 super hyper nipple pinchy" version that will have a bunch of oldschool guys.

Guaranteed, if there is enough fan response for classic characters, then Capcom will add them in. They're one of the only companies that listens to fans when they want something...

I mean, look at Ryu and Ken in (IIRC) 3rd strike...

In 1989 (I think) the original Street Fighter came out.

Between 1991 and like 1997, there were 4678435698765 versions of Street Fighter 2.

Oh yeah, there were a bunch of VS spinoff games (X-Men VS Street Fighter, Marvel Superheroes VS Street Fighter, Capcom VS SNK 1 & 2, SNK VS Capcom, etc).

Then there was the movie game...

Yeah, I'm probably missing a bunch of shit, but that's mostly it.
