I always thot it'd be huge if someone like Richards won the Royal Rumble. It's the most chaotic event, and they say 'anything can happen', but we all know there's hardly any surprise anymore.

But really, say Richards wins, then the champ, whoever it would be, doesn't care, b/c he sees his defense at MAnia to be in the bag. Even have RIchards lose his matches until Mania, and have the GM and the Champ bitching and moaning that such a loser/nobody/waste of contract ink is going to ME at 'The Granddaddy of 'em All'. THen have him win it, b/c the CHamp didn't prepare and didn't take the guy seriously.

Just have Richards say, "Um...I go crazy when I don't have anything to fight for. But this time I did...so I went especially crazy."

Doesn't have to be him per se, but really, I dream of the day an undercarder wins the Rumble 'by chance', the way Rumble really ought to be.

DRBailey does not have that much rep yet (10+)
Back to HHH/Kendrick; HHH in late 99 to mid 2000 busted his ass in the ring, I'm not saying HHH is god but the fact he got to a position where he could be the champ shows that over a few years a lot can change...
