I saw Nickel Creek tonight and they FUCKIN' OWNED!!!

Of course, I now feel the conflicting urges to both put my mandolin in the bin (after the bad ass playing of Chris Thile tonight) and to also practice even harder on it so I too can rip out some Nickel Creek licks.

I have to say it is probably the best gig I have ever been to (even beating MCM 3 years ago), with it being the only time when I didn't want the night to end. If given the chance you should all check them out.

In quite possibly the geekiest lineup of all time, I saw 7 Seconds of Love, supported by New York Scum Hates and MJ Hibbett and the Validators.
