Neither, both have either lost there appeal to me as main even status (HHH) or i just never liked them since before they could think they can rap (Cena) and wrestle and honestly get away with it. ANY WAY id like to see angle or kane as champ, as i feel one of them deserves it just to break the fact that cena is STILL champ.....god damn

Triple H easily. I used to care for Cena (as a heel), got bored of him (as a face), but now he's actually not too terrible, in my opinion. Always have been a Triple H mark though.

What? Not many people were worshiping JBL before he became champion, then he was and it was basically split half and half. Then more people (smarks, anyway) liked JBL than hated him.

Cena is the exact opposite. Everyone loved him before the title and then he got it. He bombed (in more ways than one). Not because people don't like him as champion, but because people hated (as in just plain not like versus heel heat) the way the WWE treated him, dumbing him down.

Honestly, though, he wasn't really that special even when he was a heel.

He freestyled, trashing faces and heels, and even though he was the "bad guy," He was so entertaining people loved him anyway. He was like Austin in that he could have FU'd a Fetus, and the pro lifers would still mark out.

Now. Why did people turn on such a great character?

Because.

They changed.

The Character.

The title has nothing to do with it. They figured he's getting popped, so turn him totally babyface. Making poopy jokes, kissing ass instead of being a badass.

Yeah, it's so hypocritical of the smarks to like someone when they're on fire, and not when he starts to SUCK.

Now, JBL we were all over from the day we saw his new shtick in action. A lot of us had to admit we were wrong within a week of predictions that this was a shit gimmick. The only reservations the smark community had was that he STILL can't wrestle.

I completely disagree, Cena was never cutting edge, he never really did anything special, he was always poop/boob jokes and sub par wrestling skill the only difference was back then everyone caught it now he only disses Heels, yep huge difference.

I just hope that cena hasnt given thousands of wwe fans a perception of a "good" freestyle....what he was doing wasnt even freestyling, he went to slow and spaced the bars to far apart really. Go to letsbeef.com to see look up either a guy named N.I.G. or Easton Hill....thats what REAL freestyling sounds like, not john cenas mother gooseries.

Believe it or not, very few people are as good as they claim to be in theWWE.

John Cena is not a rapper, but he plays one on TV. And he plays it well.

He doesn't need to be Dre or Eminem or Easton Hill to be good enough to rap on TV. He needs to be convincing enough to get a bunch fo people to buy it. Just like selling a move. No more, no less.

Also, since rap and freestyling don't have any one specific technique, saying that it was too slow is kind of...How do we say it...Retarded.
