As shit as it looks it's fucking intimidating. I like the old-school run down stadiums cos they're the ones opposition teams and supporters (in football anyway) hate visiting the most cos they're fucking daunting. In Victoria that stadium is Knights Stadium for Melbourne Croatia. Small (capacity 15,000), fences all around, one main grandstand on one side of the ground and the rest (broadcast side and behind both goals) is just all terraces. Fuck you shit yourself in that joint when it's packed in.

VEl, yeah the playing field is on wheels. So it can get sun, water, etc, then they just roll in the natural grass on gameday. Or they roll it out if they have concerts or monster trucks or whatnot.

Rain man, looks like the Eagles did the same type of "mold" the Pats did and I'll assume most new stadiums will, I forget the term, it's like 360 degree seating, basiclly every seat in the place is centered on mid field, it's a great idea, unlike place like fenway park where there are very, very, very, few seats that you can see the whole field of play.

So you judge who needs a new stadium by the how the field looks from a wide view angle? lol I dunno that status of it or anything. I am assuming they want more concessions, better restrooms, more seats and more efficient ways to get money though.

Yea the hotel was really nice. Place next door, Millers Pub, looks like its kinda stuck in the early 80s on the inside but the food was real good. My dad paid for that trip, so I think when I end up going back with a few of my friends, I won't be able to afford to stay in the Palmer house again haha

Big reasons is usually luxury boxes and luxury style seating (Like the club seats in Foxboro).

Is the new Colts stadium going to require "seats license fees"?

The Pats didn't do that, the trade off is, now people are having trouble transfering tickets to family members. Last I heard they were going to allow it, with a fee.
