JBL winning the title from Rey Mysterio is what happens when you're at a lack of Credable main-eventers. You're left with JBL, someone talented on the mic (and politics backstage) to win the title. The match won't even be good, and Rey definatly won't look credable, but you're missing the point.

JBL does not belong in the main event! He doesnt have what it takes to be a main eventer and shouldn't beat Rey.

I understand Rey might have an injured knee and need surgery, but there aren't other ways to excuse his time away and you can have Rey drop the title to someone like Chris Benoit. Someone far superior to him in skill and respect and just as deserving as him of a title run. Definitely someone like JBL who was able to get a classic run in a whole year!!!

If JBL wins at Judgement Day it will put the company on the map. The fans boo JBL not only because he is a godly heel, but because they want to see his promos on TV, and in a good way. JBL has been able to get heat by being a rich bastard. Nobody can get heat like that. I thought when JBL lost the title, he would go back to where he belongs, continuing to main event matches.

JBL belongs in the main event! He has what it takes to be a main eventer and for the love of god needs to beat Rey.

I believe Kane was a one time showing due to it being May 19th. JBL is an incredibly credible heel, one of the best mic workers, and I believe a better draw for SmackDown and their PPVs. He is more credible, and holds a certain level of respect, and while we are on the subject, JBL got himself over, Rey's friend died, that idea is wearing off quickly...almost as quickly as the legacy of Eddie Guerrero disappears.

Kane still gets cheered, that makes him a heel, but not a very good one. Not that it's his fault, he has tons of momentum and was shown as a face for months before this (IMO) useless heel turn.

They need to hold off on JBL winning for at least one month. If Rey loses now, he's done. He's lost twice to two talentless hosses in Henry and Khali and is getting his ass handed to him by Kane (spoilers for Smackdown). Hell just have JBL take him lightly, then Rey pulls off the upset. Just one defense can give Rey come credibility back. I mean his title run has been botched ever since the Triple Threat match at Mania when Angle ran train over him and Orton.

but I must say that as much as I hate to admit JBL is a good choice as the world champion unti Batista and Angle comes back and besides does it really matter just who is champion? SD will be shown online anyways.

I'm a huge Rey Mysterio mark, even though I know thats an unpopular opinion right now. I'm thrilled that he became champion, but the way he has been booked since being champ, like being squashed week after week, and always seeming to be an after thought on Smackdown, he should probably drop the title. I like JBL, and I enjoyed his run as champion in 2004, so he definetely is a good choice. If JBL loses the way Rey has been jobbed out the last few weeks, it'll look terrible that JBL couldn't beat Mysterio. However, no matter what the outcome, I think the match will be better than people think. I think it can be a pretty entertaining big v. little man matchup. Both are entertaining, and I think the match can surprise people, and end up being real good.
