However, what would have been better if WWE sent MNM to Raw.

Oh well, at least the better man, Mercury, is on the way to a singles career.
How is it heating up? They actually have fewer tag teams now than they did with MNM.

I LOVE the fact they broke up MNM. I actually came up with another scenario like this for Judgment Day (prior to any knowledge of MNM splitting up). I saw Melina telling MNM that if they lose the WWE Tag Team Championship tonight, the man who doesn't get pinned will have to decide which partnership he values more, the one with the loser of the match or the one with Melina. Joey Mercury would get pinned, Johnny Nitro would turn on Mercury.

To get the new Tag Champs over a bit more, I think they should credit themselves with the destruction of the greatest tag team in SmackDown! history. It just occured to me that Paul London & Brian Kendrick may be the most over guys in the company who have never cut a promo. Just have them come out and talk about how they were expecting a rematch, but that's not going to happen anymore.

SmackDown! still has plenty of tag teams. Nunzio & Vito and The Gymini can serve as filler opponents for London & Kendrick. I can see Joey Mercury teaming up with a random opponent for his contractual rematch or two. Maybe Akio, seeing Paul London and Jimmy Yang have heaps of chemistry. This should get Paul London & Brian Kendrick over as fighting Champs. Mabe even have them work a few main event matches against Booker T & Finlay for the straps (Lashley costs the heels the match).

The real programs for the WWE Tag Team Championship would involve Jamie Noble & Kid Kash, and I'm going to make the gamble that The Basham Brothers will be back. Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Jamie Noble & Kid Kash? Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. The Basham Brothers? Colour me excited.

BTW, Melina can actually add something to the Women's Division, as can Johnny Nitro to the IC Division. I was just thinking during their Judgment Day match that Nitro could be a singles star. They can just highlight the fact he is a former Tough Enough Champion. Sure that may not sound like much, but it's something that helps him stand out.

Am I the only one hoping that we get a Mick Foley, Edge, Johnny Nitro & Melina vs. Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, Joey Mercury & Lita feud? This gives us around three matches at the WWE vs. ECW Special. Foley & Edge vs. Funk & Dreamer, Nitro vs. Mercury and Melina vs. Lita would all be servinceable outings.
