Florida (at large 1) 12. Boise State (WAC champ) 3. USC (Pac-10 champ) 14. Houston (C-USA champ) 6. Michigan (at large 2) 11. Clemson (ACC champ) 7. Texas (Big 12 champ) 10. Georgia (at large 5) 2. Ohio State 3. USC Fiesta Bowl (consolation third place game) 5. Florida 2. Auburn Champions: 1. Ohio State 2. USC 3. Auburn 4. Florida I think it works |

They definately need to change it so that pass interference can be reviewed. Complete bullshit calls go far unnoticed way too often.
Also, either eliminate the DH rule or make it apply to both leagues. I personally prefer it without a DH, but whatever...just make it even. |

But honestly, look at that. Is there one deserving team that would be left out of that? Notre Dame? Maybe they can get some sort of an exception because of the independent thing, but at the same time do they really deserve it more than Georgia? UGA is ranked higher than Notre Dame, so that is the only forseeable controversy.
Then you might complain, "Well Ohio State would kick the shit out of Middle Tennessee." At the same time, I think three or four blowouts like that are neccessary, because look at the quality of teams and good games you leave out by stoppign it at eight. No, LSU, Georgia, Clemson? I think that this method gives every team that is a legitimate national title contender an opportunity, and it also gives some meaning to the smaller conferences. |

Any sport (except the olympics, where there has to be a Bronze medal) should have the play-off for third spot scrapped. Once you're out of the finals and can't win the championship, who gives a fuck where you finish up?
