I'm 24 and my knees (right one especially) are fucked from intense walking missions in hot-ass Miami since I learned to walk. Then there's the silly backyard wrestling where, yip-dee-doo, the guys targeted my right knee for 'their favorite moves'. I imagine I won't enjoy walking by my 40's...
But I made peace with that already. I still do what I gotta do to get where I gotta go, annoying pain or not. But if someone who just so happens to know what comes of repetitious actions on worn limbs were to tell someone else that my knee's days were numbered; a debate can go both ways. Except some signs really are as obvious as they seem. Why did I post, the rain analogy sent it home. Or is that a metaphor? Someone help me out here. |

As much as I tend to agree with some of the points that both sides have made on this, I want to point out one thing:
Kurt may not die in a TNA ring. How much work do you think Kurt really needs to do to carry TNA's 3/4ths shitty roster right now? He'll be fine. |

DON'T argue with Kane Knight. It's like coaching a retarded kid. No matter how hard you try, he's still retarded.

It's amazing that you always take shots at me when the other guy has no argument.

I love taking shots at you no matter what the situation. I'm an equal opportunity harasser.
I just think it's funny that you provoke arguments on the stupidest, most pointless things and then cling to the hope that somebody will care that you might be right. |

Wow. I'm wondering if I should even reply. However, since Angle is one of my favs, I will[reguardless of who agrees or not];
Kurt Angle is intelligent enough to have his health checked out. I'm sure if it's that big an issue, Angle probably contacted several doctors to evaluate his health. Do you honestly think the man would INTENTIONALLY kill himself? I don't. Even if he does love the wrestling business, I doubt he'd wanna be a casualty to it. Angle has had almost two months off of WWE schedules[not quite, but, closer to two months now]. Did you ever consider that Angle was in some way, unhappy with WWE?! Angle has been quoted as saying WWE "held him back". I'm sure WWE didn't want a possibly death on their hands with Guerrero's death still fresh on everyone's mind. Bottom line: TNA is a MUCH different schedule and atmosphere than WWE. Kurt will not travel nearly as much and will have more than enough time to heal from past injuries. Since Impact is taped in three week incriments, I'm sure Angle can handle that. The non-travel aspect is the biggest wear-and-tear effect on his body[although busting his ass in the ring doesn't help]. If Angle has consulted his doctors and feels everything will be fine, we have no right to judge him for it[as internet fans tend to do]. I do see both sides of the issue, but, complaining about Angle's decision to keep wrestling is sheer idiocy. What can WE do about it? Nothing. All we can do is enjoy the matches he puts on and hope these aren't among his last...... |

The main reason he chose to go to TNA was because it is the better WRESTLING product of the two. When's the last time you saw a quality wrestling match on WWE TV? Between drawn out diva/women segments, McMahons on TV weekly, and other promo/segment related time, where does that leave the in-ring wrestling? Nowhere. You're lucky to get 4-5 matches in a two-hour show. Meanwhile TNA pulls off at least 3 quality matches in only an hour. To make a long story short: Money is not always the issue. Christian stated WWE offered him ALOT of money to stay on with them. He instead opted to jump to TNA. TNA is the new product willing to take risks. I cannot remember the last time WWE took a risk or shocked us. That will be TNA's strength: their willingness to take risks with their product. And having Angle won't hurt none, either ![]() |

I'm not questioning Kurt's passion for wrestling. You missed my point. This has to do with somebody who was released from the WWE not wanting to stop (see, I can spot the passion). He didn't get offered any more money because they didn't want to employ him anymore. Sure, I'm dealing with a hypothetical here, but if WWE had offered Kurt the money to stick around I doubt that he would have left. I think it was Harley Race who said (and I'm paraphrasing here) that if you're in the wrestling business for anything besides the money that you're an idiot.

WWE was in talks with Kurt Angle on brining him back. So lets not say WWE didn't want Kurt, because they did.
Kurt for whatever reasons didn't want to go back to WWE. |

But all of these arguments and scenarios have been run over before, and the fact is that we really have no idea. When it comes down to it, I'm glad that Angle went to TNA regardless of the circumstances surrounding it. |

Kurt WAS fired, he didn't just walk out. I heard that at least part of the reason he was released was he wanted a bigger contract.
