I could see Nomar returning to Boston as the 2B, cause is doesn't look like Loretta is gonna re-sign. I'd rather play Nomar at 2B cause Gonzalez is really solid at SS.

Agreed. But Don Mattingly has done a pretty good job with some of the yankee bats. Maybe a secondary instructor or send him down to one of the affiliates.

Guess he won't be coming back then. Though I do give props to him for coming out and saying he fucked up, rather than every other guy who gets caught and complains about how he had no idea how it got into his system

I expect the Jays to make one big free agent signing, I just don't know in what direction they'll lean. They've got to re-sign Wells and Lilly, that'll cost them. I would like to see a solid middle infielder with decent offensive numbers be brought in. Their pitching, if it can remain healthy and have Towers bounce back *should* do well enough.

I think the Blue Jays are going to do something big. They are really close to making the playoffs, I could see them breaking the bank and getting Zito.

As for the Twins, I wish we would add Adam Eaton to be a consistant third starter, but Terry Ryan is probably going to let Scott Baker, Matt Garza and Boof Bonser develop and fill out the rotation, and it will probably end up working. I don't know if the Twins need a bat or not. The only position that is open would be third base or DH. I think Rondell White will be good next year.

the jays definitley need to adress their middle infield. I like Aaron Hill, but playign another year with John McDnald and Aaron Hill just won't cut it. Also, by not pickign up the option on Benji Molina nad Ted Lilly, Justin Spier and or/ Frank Catalaotto leaving, it'll free up some cash to adress that issue.

It'd definitely be worth it for the Yankees to let Sheffield go to a contender like Detroit, who have said Bonderman is on the block. Sheffield wants to play for Leyland again anyway. Makes perfect sense for everyone.
