I think the word your were looking for is "Briar."

That, again, is not a logical assumption.

The logical assumption is that this is, in essence, a "lucky break" for TNA, in that they got to blame bad fortune on the competition. The odds are even TNA's not stupid enough to rig this or blame their own failures on WWE. If they were caught (And it doesn't have to be at the scene, either, which seemed to be the basis of your brilliant reasoning), this would be far more damaging than helpful.

Here's, logically, what, probably, happened:

TNA planned the James gang invasion of WWE Headquarters to be taped.

TNA's show's got cancelled for some stupid inspection related reason.

Rumors started that since it was in Conneticut Vince or wwe must have something to do with it.

TNA used these rumors as a catalyst to add in the James Gangs, already planned invasion of the WWE Headquarters.

Actually, I have it on good authority that "bird" is the word.

And yes, you're misunderstanding, apparently, because these don't contradict one another. Actually, they dovetail pretty well. TNA isn't dumb enough to fake something like this, because it'll cause a backlash. However, if they're not at fault, and it drops into their lap, they're more than capable of handling that.

I know you've pulled back, now claiming that you meant that they didn't pay off someone, but considering you were prior accusing them of planning this, I'd say your accusations are more contradictory.

I know there's this whole TNA hating bandwagon right now. I thought KK was above that stuff. But whatever. Hell, people can hate TNA all they want right now, they all have valid points. But it doesn't change my opinion.

If TNA forces WWE into making a better product then good stuff.

But it won't happen. Enjoy WWE all you want guys but you'll only get a product aimed at ten year olds and white trash.

Best thing TNA can do right now is get out of Universal Studios.

Yeah, while TNA has its negative parts. I really think the whole TNA bashing thing - even as a joke - has been going on way too long.

And with that said I'll add my final joke...

I bet when the fans were outside as the area went under the inspection...the fans were all chanting, "THIS IS AWESOME! CLAP CLAP CLAP!"

That and their passion for booking clusterfuck endings, which they seem to have lightened up on lately...

Stop. Think.

Every time I agree with the majority, some dumb fuck comes along and says "I thought you were different." "I thought you were above this."

It never seems to occur to these people thatI came to this conclusion on my own. Which is funny, because I'm somehow an independant thinker unless my train of thought comes even close to the mainstream.

Sorry, I form my own opinions, and some of them, occasionally, will go with the grain. Anyone who's always against the majority is simply doing it to be contrary. Sometimes, even if it means going along with the much-dreaded mainstream beliefs, you go with what you think.

I'm sorry, but this, of all times is a stupid time to go proclaim yourself a TNA mark and "supporter of everything" or whatever it was. This is another lame ass stunt TNA's pulling in lieu of their own workmanship. Even with a fucking legend like Kurt Angle, they can't just build themselves up, they have to play off WWE's foundation. This just shows what they have going for them. They can't work on their own merits. It's WWE this and that. You can't even call them close to perfect: They're a smaller scale WWE, where you have crap and hasbeens on top, you have "talent" that appears to be limited to spotfests, and you have a lot of guys who barely get used. This isnb't great programming, this isn't even good programming. This is WWE-level programming. I'm sorry, but to support them as an alternative is bullshit. Retarded bullshit. And if that's bandwagon jumping...

...Well, regardless of whether it's bandwagon jumping, fuck it. I'll continue to give my opinion on matters, not some bandwagon's, but also not softening my stance just because it may coincide. Oh noes, Is on teh bandwagon.

It wasn't that your opinion was with the mainstream. It's that you are beginning to make points by calling people TNAtards.

And I do not think TNA is anywhere near WWE in production quality, talent, etc. But right now they are exciting me and at least I can see some decent wrestling on their show.

That's not bandwagon jumping. That's me mocking you. You may have not noticed, because I hide it so well, but I crack wise, make offensive statements, and push buttons. My comments can range from gentle ribbing to Rhiannon (Attempt to induce suicide) in intensity, and dat aint nuttin' new.

If any of this strikes you as new or surprising enough to actually merit a statement that you previously thought I was above it, you clearly have a learning or attention problem at best. If you think TNA is the "next best thing" to perfect, I suspect it's far worse.

Please don't fucking hurt my head. How can any of you truly believe that TNA was behind this?

FIRST, they cost themselves lots of money for every ticket they sold to that house show. They've posted a message on TNAwrestling.com in concern to the cancelled show in Conneticut, and are offering full refunds for any and all ticket holders for that show:

Quote:
TICKET REFUND INFORMATION FOR OUR FANS IN CONNECTICUT

To be refunded for your ticket purchases for Saturday's event, starting Monday morning, contact the place where you purchased your tickets (tickets@uwfusa.com, highspots@aol.com , or the Face Off Arena (860) 282-0003 to verify your address and/or credit card or paypal account. Full refunds will be issued this week.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Sincerely,
Hermie Sadler
UWF President

AN UPDATE ON SATURDAY'S EVENT CANCELLATION IN CONNECTICUT

On Saturday, TNA Wrestling was forced to cancel a live event in Bloomfield, Connecticut, after police and local officials arrived without prior notification and informed TNA representatives of their decision to not allow the show to take place.

Once again, TNA Wrestling would like to apologize to all of our fans in Connecticut that came out for the event, only to be turned away from the building by police.

TNA Wrestling is still puzzled by some of the reasons given by police and local officials regarding their decision. Other wrestling groups hold shows monthly throughout Connecticut, yet they have never been forced to cancel their events.

No mention of WWE; only that other wrestling groups hold shows in CT, and have never been forced to cancel their shows.

TNA would not purposely cause themselves this kind of problem. It's not earning them any publicity, as WWE isn't talking about it, and TNA is only promoting what happened through the VKM, who talk shit about any and everyone in WWE anyways. Not only did they lose money on the weekend, but they also pissed off a lot of fans who were looking forward to seeing a TNA show.

Read the fucking news article in Post Number One again. There is a direct quote from an officer on the scene stating that "You know you have a competitor up here who isn't making your life easy".

Sometimes the news is just the news.

FUCK.

Well, despite already believing TNA was not behind it, Fox has come up with an argument so stupid that there's no real thing to say except...

...Yeah, because no business has ever taken a hit on money for the sake of publicity.

Bloomfield Police Releases Statement On TNA/CT/WWE Situation
Posted by Ashish on 11.14.2006

Officer explains all....

Captain Jeffrey L. Blatter of the Bloomfield, CT Police Department released the following statement to WrestlingUpdateOnline.com regarding the police shutting down the scheduled TNA show on Saturday.

"TNA's attempt to manipulate their fan base into believing the Bloomfield Police Department, or any other Town Official, was responsible for the canceling of their Saturday event is misleading and disingenuous.

TNA failed to notify the Town of their intent to hold an event, nor did they apply for the proper permits. Had TNA made the proper notifications, in a timely manner, the Town would have had the opportunity to address the public safety concerns that were identified, and the wrestling fans would have had the opportunity to enjoy the event in a safe environment. The code violations that were identified were not obscure administrative matters, but real concerns for public safety, and were in fact explained to TNA representatives.

Allowing an event to go forward in violation of known public safety hazards is a breach of our responsibility to the citizens of Bloomfield and those who visit our community. The Rhode Island Night Club tragedy is a sobering example of what can occur if this responsibility is not met."

He also addressed the issue of Vince McMahon having something to do with the shutting down of the TNA event.

"After I sent my statement to you I had the opportunity to further speak with a Supervisor who was on scene. Your inquiry into Vince McMahon appears to be on target since someone at the incident alleged our actions were predicated on the behest of Vince McMahon, who, according to the individual, "owns Connecticut".

To dispel a completely false notion, Vince McMahon had no involvement in this matter, and my Supervisor had to ask who Vince McMahon was. We became aware of the event only hours before it was to be held, when the East Hartford Police Department brought our attention to the TNA Web Site, which made reference to Bloomfield.

I believe it is also appropriate to note that the Supervisor on scene was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and cooperation he received from the wrestlers and most of the event staff. He particularly noted the wrestlers desire to stay and greet their fans even after the event had to be cancelled. Had they not done so, we could have been faced with a situation that may have spiraled out of control."

Oh, okay, so it wasn't WWE saboutage nor "the man" holding them down...it was TNA's own stupidity.

Yep, I believe it.

They're not the first promotion to have shows shut down because of not doing things properly so it's within the range of believability.
