I think you underestimate the size of some of these wrestlers, and aside from that, how tough and strong they are. I'm 6' 3" 230 and I wouldnt want to fight anyone aside from the cruiserweights pretty much. I'd knock out Lesnar tho.
And I'd make benoit tap.

Wrestling's a work. These guys are tough in that they take a lot of punishment in the ring and keep going, but they're not neccesarily tough in a 'kick you ass' kind of way. A lot of guys in wrestling have/had some really tough reputations: The Undertaker, William Regal, Godfather, Haku, Shamrock, Angle, Rick Rude.... but wrestlers are mostly just regular guys who are made to look like fighting machines by their companies. Tough, but not SUPER fighters.

I'm not saying I'd demolish a wrestler or anything. But being practical, I'm 6'4", 250lbs and have a bit of a background in judo. I reckon some of these cruiserweights everyone is talking about would be easy prey! (Except X-Pac, who is a karate black belt as somebody correctly said.)

Gotta be honest. On the pro wrestling scene, we're talking about people with years upon years of experience in a physical activity (And even in fake wrestling, you learn to fuck someone up), years of damn good physical fitness, many of whom have real combat or sport experience, good size, and possibly performance enhancing drugs.

Not many, if any.

I held my own against high school and college jocks, but noboy who's made their livlihood out of being a hoss for years, and they're not really the same league, anyway.

Hey, I'm 6'5" and that's billed as a "small" enough height as to almost be applicable for the CW belt. Many of your "average" Joes are around my height. Even if they bump heights by a couple of inches, I still don't want to fuck with a 6' guy who can do 720s, whether the move's impractical or not.

Perhaps I'm just being a jackass, but looking at the men on the WWE roster, I think I have a good shot at beating a couple of them. I mean I'm 6'2" 220lbs and I'm a black belt in Ju-Jitsu, in an actual fight I like my chances, against almost everyone I encounter. Then again the WWE superstars are freakishly big and strong, so in encounters with them it'd be harder.

LOL. In class, I once was asked during practice with a brown belt, "Can you actuallly get out of this?" I can't remember the name of the ground pin, but I literally picked her up off the ground to not only relieve the pressure, but get out. She was only 5'4" though, but the moral of this story is: There are some moves you just don't use on bigger and stronger people (Though Sensei then showed her a Hinkei (SP?) that would work much better on someone larger).

I am 6'2, and weigh around 250 pounds, I hate when people try to take me down, they obviously have no Idea how to take down a larger guy.

- You don't jump on his back, that is dumb
- You don't run straight at him from the front, one size 14 boot to the head, will stop that
- You don't let him grab you.
- You don't stand still, at all.
- and most of all you make sure if you fight dirty, you don't miss.

Taking large guys down is fun. Mind you I am 6'4'' 210. But still, taking heavy guys out is fun, and taking taller guys down is more fun. WHen I was in grade 8 a 6'11'' basketball player was picking on me, so I just grabbed a leg and ended up on top of him rather easily.
