My ratings are purely based on how I feel the wrestlers contribute to the show... It is not necessarily based on statistical success or on who I may favor.

Wrestler of the Year:

1. Brock Lesnar (standout year for a star that carried SmackDown!)
2. Shawn Michaels (wow, he can still go just as well as in his prime, RAW's finest)
3. Kurt Angle (wrestling greatness personified)
4. Chris Jericho (another vital talent that helped carry RAW)
5. John Cena, Eddie Guerrero & Chris Benoit (tie) (3 greatly improved and underrated talents that carried SmackDown! for much of the year)

Tag Team of the Year:

1. World's Greatest Tag-Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas) (what a team)
2. Los Guerreros (Eddie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero) (these guys are truly incredible together)
3. Chris Jericho & Christian (funny, talented, what more could you want)
4. Basham Brothers (Doug Basham & Danny Basham) (what a great rookie team, so much improvement since their debut)
5. Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley) (consistently important to RAW)

Pay-Per-View of the Year:

1. WWE WrestleMania (an amazing, memorable event)
2. WWE Royal Rumble (Benoit-Angle)
3. WWE Vengeance (lots of good matches from SmackDown!)
4. WWE Summerslam (Angle-Brock part 2 & Elimination Chamber #2)
5. WWE Survivor Series (Team Bischoff vs. Team Austin was definitely a classic)

Diva of the Year:

1. Trish Stratus (gets better every time she steps into the ring)
2. Torrie Wilson (purely for Playboy exposure given to WWE)
3. Victoria (what a year for a rookie in the business)
4. Molly Holly (consistent in-ring greatness in the women's division)
5. Stacy Kiebler ( )

Match of the Year:

1. Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit (Royal Rumble)
2. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho (WrestleMania)
3. Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar (WrestleMania, Summerslam OR SmackDown!)

1. Kane finally unmasking to mark a new era of Kane
2. Triple H jobbing cleanly to Goldberg 2 PPV's in a row
3. Goldberg joins WWE
4. Piper's Pit & Sable on SmackDown!; Piper & Hogan released
5. Angle's stellar performance at Mania with an injured neck

Most Improved Wrestler of the Year:

1. John Cena (wow, has this guy gotten better and more over or what)
2. Matt Hardy (what great performances this year against the likes of Mysterio)
3. Trish Stratus (carrying the women's division)
4. Randy Orton (still hasn't had that standout match, but still a joy to watch)
5. Big Show (actually enjoyable this year and starting to find chemistry as a big man in the ring)

Entrance Theme of the Year:

1. John Cena (what a suitable and fitting theme song)
2. Evolution (catchy as hell)
3. Eddie Guerrero (crowd erupts)
4. Matt Hardy (the whole video package is truly one of a kind)
5. Victoria (certainly sets her apart from the other women)

The Non WWE Promotion of the Year:

1. NWA-TNA (can't wait to see a TV deal)
2. ROH (the best of the indies)
3. UPW (Sakoda, Kazarian, Cena, Victoria, Heidenreich, all UPW standouts)
4. OVW (all WWE stars start somewhere, lots of them debuted this year; unfortunately, lots disappointed)
5. NWA Wildside (some good indy action and a refreshing change from WWE)

Announcer of the Year:

1. Tazz (this guy is a joy to listen to and he can definitely make you laugh)
2. Michael Cole (starting to call the action like a true specialist)
3. Jim Ross (during every vital match, Ross proves he still has tremendous passion)
4. Mike Tenay (carrying NWA-TNA from an announcing point of view)
5. Josh Matthews (improved tremendously, actually a pretty funny guy)

PPV Theme Song of the Year:

1-5. No Clue

Blooper of the Year:

1. Brock lands on his neck with his first Shooting Star Press attempt in WWE
2. Nathan Jones slips on his WWE debut when attempting a modified kick
3. Goldberg slips on his way to the ring
4. Jackie Gayda's nipple slips on a live episode of WWE RAW
5. Scott Steiner slips off the ring apron

Most deteriorated wrestler:

1. Ultimo Dragon (put on Velocity right away, not even given a chance)
2. Rhyno (Vince must really hate this guy)
3. Scott Steiner (a potential main event talent drained away for being a face too long)
4. Kanyon (not even given a chance since coming back from injury)
5. Sean O'Haire (Piper released, O'Haire buried, kind of a trend)

Honorable Mention: Lance Storm (the boring angle was truly an insult to Storm)

Best TV show:

1. WWE RAW (live excitement every week, show has improved a lot this year)
2. WWE SmackDown! (solid talent, solid action, week in and week out)
3. NWA-TNA (truly an alternative from WWE, something much needed)
4. WWE Confidential (interesting show)
5. WWE Velocity (a good place to catch a lot of the great stars on the SmackDown! brand that don't get a chance to shine: Paul London, Spanky, Ultimo Dragon, Funaki, Rhyno, Sean O'Haire, Kanyon, etc)

Worst TV show:

1. WWE Bottom Line ( )
2. WWE Afterburn ( )
3. WWE HeAT (this show has truly become a waste of anybody's time)
4. WWE Velocity (a good alternative to SmackDown!, yes, a good show, not really)
5. WWE Confidential (an interesting show, yes, an excellent show, no)

Saddest news story:

1-5: The passing of many such as Stu Hart, Crash Holly, Hawk, Curt Hennig and Miss Elizibeth

Worst wrestler:

1. Kevin Nash (truly dreadful, deserves the pink slip)
2. Vince McMahon (why he thinks putting himself in PPV matches is good for business is beyond me)
3. Jon Heidenreich (from the looks of things, the worst OVW talent to grace WWE to date)
4. Lita (since her return, she can't match the other women on RAW and she is truly sloppy)
5. Zach Gowen (a big disappointment, very overrated upon his debut)

I doubt very many people on these boards (including myself) know enough about Japanese, Mexican and Indy wrestling to be able to decide that. Same for worst promotion, I havn't been able to get anything else besides WWE ever WCW got bought out, so chosing a worst promotion would be kinda hard.
