If WWE continues to book Cena as a super-hero babyface with a never say die attitude, I can see a situation arise where Cena will play Bret Hart to an Austin like foil.

But honestly, you guys act like Cena is the only person to ever not sell an injury. It happens all the time. HBK worked Mankinds leg over really good at In Your House and Mankind finished the last 7 minutes or so of the match as if it never happend.

COmon. I dont like Cena either, but stop coming up with bullshit to bury him with. No selling an injury happens all the time.

It's interesting that you bring up the point of watching his lips. On another message board I frequent, someone swears that when HBK is on top of the ring post after that fan is ejected, that he mouths "Let's get this shit show over with, I've gotta job to you, Cena" and after the match when Cena goes to shake his hand, HBK says "Not tonight" and walks off.

Now I'm hopeless at reading lips, but if that's true, then I'm inclined to believe that maybe HBK was going to win but plans changed at the last minute, hence HBK being pissed at Cena.

HBK/Cena had the potential to be a really great Mania main event. I won't deny that. But it was trash, the build up sucked, there was no real psychology in the match and whether this story is true or not -- Cena should have sold the fucking leg. It was disgusting the way he played that off.

I love HBK.

Is it possible the knee part, the frustration was legit, but not the "unscripted" shit?

I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility that this could be a work, something that WWE or else Michaels and Cena put out there to catch the eye of the IWC in order to generate some actual interest amongst us. To me, the one thing that doesn't ring true is the idea of Michaels saying "I've gotta job to you, Cena" during a match. Something about that doesn't feel right.

A Kennedy/Orton/Edge angle would be pretty entertaining IMO.

You answered all of them right except the last one BDC. It was a trick question. Luckily I was able to go to the future in a Delorian that Kurt Angle built me out of his belly button lint and I've seen the match. At Wrestlemania 25, both Cena and Hogan refuse to sell any moves or put each other over the entire match. They then FIRE UP simultaniously on each other at the end, which comes off as ridiculous because neither was ever in peril. After a 3 hour time limit, there are no pin falls and the match is ruled a draw.

J.R. mistakes the sound of 80,000 fans collectively blowing their heads off for a gigantic grand finale firework ending and pronounces the match "BBBBAAAWWWGGGGAAAAAWWWWDDDDD THE GREATEST MAIN EVENT IN WRESTLEMANIA HISTORY" as they go off the air.

There are no survivors.

Hey, I'm totally impartial - but no match on that show had the drama the main event did. The stuff they were doing was awesome, and it was exciting as hell. John Cena not selling the leg at a point in the match when it wasn't about the leg doesn't matter - did it sound like the crowd gave a fuck? The only people that care are the "little bit of information is a dangerous thing" internet crowd that things wrestling psychology is about working a body part, when it isn't.
