In all honesty, I wouldn't mind this...

Khali wins it at ONS, loses it at Vengeance back to Cena, and then Cena drops it to Orton at SS who then goes on a lengthy run.

Exactly. Pretty much what Darth said above you. Cena has been pushed to such an ridiculous extent now, that any challenger that comes along, we basically go "Oh, maybe THIS guy will take it!"

It seems to me the writers think they have the old school philosophy of "Lets make the fans wonder if the next challenger will take the champs gold!!"

And to be fair, they do. Its just for all the wrong reasons.

Cena even looks bored as the champ, I'm sure the checks keep him in the game, but dammit. Khali as champ?!?! times sure do suck around these parts...


I'd rather see Earl The Pearl Hebner with the belt than Khali.

They're shitting on Orton so much, but he needs to be injected seriously into the title scene. Seriously, I hate to rob TNA, but that whole open season tourney idea doesn't seem half bad right now. It would give them a chance to bring up some upper midcard talnet to see if they can run with the ball. Of course, the strap ends up on Orton over Kahli, then he could be the giant killa too.
