The only way this would be considered a 'bad' thing would be that they would push Kennedy and whatever other young heel right out of the way to push Lesnar back into a top heel spot.

Yeah, I really do think the talk about him getting schooled are asinine. He's a natural athelete with good credentials in real wrestling and a great teacher for his MMA venture. Well, they could push him as a top face in ECW, but I'd rather see him as a heel. But let's face it: Do they have enough top heels to fill the slots yet?

I'm not sure what the fans would accept him as, or how much the current audience is aware of what actually happened. General fan reaction might have to do with how they would treat a Lesnar return.

Then again, they could just make us choke down a big throbbing twelve incher of Lesnar. If history has taught us anything, it's down our throats it is.
