If the only reason you like Manson is the shock (like the humorless kiddies), then you pretty much have no taste in music to begin with.
Manson can be a pretty damned good musician. The ironic bit is he'd probably be nobody without the shock, the urban legend, the innuendo... |

Im a big fan of Manson's music. Whilst I think the actual guy is a complete screwball, his records are excellent. The best album he released was the live album "The Last Tour On Earth". His latest albums are not on a par with Holywood or Antichrist Superstar though.

I bought Portrait of an american family today. Taken me ages to get round to buying this bad boy, though I have a backlog of CDs to listen to at the moment, so it won't get listened to until next week.
And Mechanical Animals still remains his best album. |
