Seriously, he may not be the greatest thing in what should be their main demographic, but he still is popular with the marks. And really, he is a great company man. I agree for the most part, but let's face it: T-Shirt sales aren't the only factor here. There's no real indication he's putting more asses in the seats, he's sure as fuck not getting ratings, so I mean, yeah, he's selling merch, but that alone doesn't mean he's actually over, just that his merch sells.

Of course, that is enough for WWE, so....

If WWE is stupid enough to think John Cena put 80,000+ in Detroit instead of the WrestleMania event itself, they are fucking delusional. WrestleMania is on the same level as the SuperBowl, it will sell itself as far as tickets go.

I would be suprised. I'm expecting they strip the current champion of the title and hand it to Cena before he is 100% back, he is going to over come the odds of not even being there.
