BTW, I am just as happy about the Pats losing as RP is (and I am also a Colts fan, to boot). I was rooting against them not because of their rivalry with my team of choice but because I didn't feel a team that was tainted with the spygate scandal this year deserved all the hype and praise for their potential undefeated season. I mean come on, we have a team that is fined and penalized for cheating (that is what it was for all intents and purposes in this situation) and everyone is worshipping them and how they are the best ever, better than the '72 fins.

Well I am sorry, but a team caught cheating doesn't deserve praise for this kind of potential accomplishment. Hell, lets not forget how everyone blasts Barry Bonds for the HR record and he hasn't even been proven to be a cheater yet. Every single sports analyst who praised the Pats this year but put down Bonds when he set his mark is a giant hypocrite.

does it effect the team sure... but the trade off is they're so good at managing picks they have the #7 pick thanks to a smart trade with SF last year.

So, it would be nice to have the other pick, but it wont make a big difference.
