Yeah which was kinda stupid, IMO..

I mean, they were saying yall would pick Ellis then trade him to us for our 10th overall pick and some other pick..

I dunno.. As long as we get the best defensive player availible and some depth at CB I'll be happy.. I'd also like to get Shockey..

There's talk here if Ellis slips the Pats keep him.

Seymore and Wilfork both have big paydays coming up soon and the thought is they can't afford both. While Ellis would get a nice payday for being the #7 pick, he wouldn't see the huge money for 4-5years.

I really love Wilfork, hate to see him or Seymore go anywhere.

There's also talk if McFadden somehow slips the Pats can get the 2 first rounders from Dallas and deal one of them to Miami for Jason Taylor

We offered our 40th overall pick from this year and this year's 5th rounder (or next years 6tgh rounder) for Shockey.. It's supposedly already happened, but we won't know for sure until the 40th pick..

I wasn't really crazy about trading up either, but at least it's a step in the right direction (I think).

As for the trade between NE/NO, I haven't found the exact terms yet. Not sure if they've been specified exactly.
